Review Time
I’m leaving this review primarily to escalate a support concern that I’m hoping can still be resolved professionally.
I want to start by saying the only reason this isn’t a lower rating is because my previous experience with Akiflow was genuinely excellent. The platform worked well for my needs, and customer support was historically quick, thoughtful, and helpful. That’s why the current situation has been surprising.
My issue isn’t with the product itself, but with communication around canceling my yearly subscription and requesting a refund. The account was tied to a business I was working with that I’m no longer employed by, so I no longer have a need for the service. I reached out while the subscription payment was still pending specifically to address cancellation and possible refund options.
There was an initial complication because the email associated with the account had been accidentally deactivated, then reinstated so I could update connected accounts (including this one). I explained this clearly when contacting support.
For transparency:
Initial outreach: Feb 3
Follow-up email: Feb 5
Response from Peache on Feb 6 requesting my account email (which I provided promptly)
No response since — today is Feb 12
Given that Akiflow typically advertises fast response times, the lack of follow-up has been disappointing and inconsistent with the level of service I previously experienced.
I’m still very open to resolving this amicably. I’m simply requesting clear communication regarding cancellation confirmation and any refund options that may be available, particularly since I attempted to address this before the charge finalized and due to a legitimate change in employment circumstances.
I truly hope we can resolve this quickly and positively.

Very disappointing experience.I signed up for what was presented as a free trial, which already required entering credit card details — a questionable practice in itself. I never used the service and received absolutely no value from it.Despite this, I was charged once the subscription activated. When I contacted support immediately to request a refund, it was refused on the grounds that a reminder email had been sent. The problem is that they send around 10 emails per day, making it very easy for such reminders to be missed.Refusing a refund in this situation feels dishonest and clearly intentional. After reading other reviews here, it’s obvious I’m not the only one who has experienced this. The pattern is always the same: charge users who didn’t intend to subscribe, then hide behind “policy” to deny refunds.I work in marketing, and I can confidently say this is not how you build trust or a sustainable business. I would strongly advise others to be extremely careful before entering their card details.
I was very disappointed when I was charged the full annual fee during my trial period. Eventhough having a pending on-boarding call two days later, that was promised to come along with an extension of the trial period by another week, I was charged the full 200$ without a warning. No refund granted, nor the extra trial period as promised earlier.
I started a trial of Akiflow, and whilst the platform was altogether pretty good, it missed one key feature for me - automatic scheduling. So, on the same day that I took out the trial, I cancelled it.Then, on Christmas Eve of all days, my account was charged for a full annual plan. I immediately reached out to their support team, who then argued with me for weeks before eventually just stopping responding. It's honestly one of the worst customer service processes I've ever had. They argue that I took out a retention offer, which obviously I didn't - why would I agree to still pay for software that I didn't want? And since they never sent me a record of my cancellation, I have no proof to contest it. So their own shoddy account keeping works in their favour. And, if you check out the Akiflow subreddit, you can see this is happening to other people on a near weekly basis, it seems. The software itself is fine, and I may have come back as a customer in future if they hadn't so stubbornly dug their heels in to what should have been an easy fix. Now they are one of the few companies I will tell people to never even touch. But, if you do decide to get a trial with them, and you cancel, *screenshot or screen record the cancellation page because they will probably try and still charge you anyway*.
It was a very informative call I had with Ms Cecile! :) She's really approachable and knowledgeable with Akiflow individual plan features. She has also extended her help by giving features possible with the Team Plan. :) She's given me a lot of info that would help me understand Akiflow better!
I've been on the hunt for a true 'command center' for my scattered tasks and calendar, and Akiflow promised to be the answer. While the core concept of pulling all my to-dos into a single, time-blocked daily view is brilliant, the execution and user experience fall short for an app at this premium price point.
Flawless customer service provided by Peache and her team. I'm a new user to Akiflow but I've found a way to include it in my workflow and I'm excited to see how it unfolds. I feel that I've got their support so I'm quite confident.
I signed up for the trial and canceled the next day. They charged me anyway.I then requested a refund, which they initially denied, claiming they do not allow refunds. After I told them I would dispute the charge, they suddenly agreed to refund it, saying the case was escalated to the highest priority and that finance would approve it ASAP.This was in November. A month later, the refund still hasn’t been processed. I received an email saying it would be handled “soon.” It feels like they are intentionally running out the dispute window so the charge can’t be contested. This company is a total joke. They either can’t get their finance department to press a refund button, or they need $34 that badly. Stay far away. This company will be gone once their funding runs out and the AI SaaS hype dips. you can build the same thing they offer yourself with most ai agentsBTW I canceled because the software was overbuilt and impractical. Given how dodgy they’ve been with the refund, I definitely wouldn’t want my activity data stored with them. Beware.
A Student's Review of Akiflow:From being having the worst time management due to 4 Classes + 1 Lab, Society/Club Works, personal goals and aspirations which used to be incomplete by the end of the day to actually complete-ing it all without any issues, Akiflow changed my entire perspective of scheduling your day.Few mentions of features would be the AI Agent and Multiple Inbox integration helping to do it all without much requirements of me writing most of my stuff. Although credits are limited, the AI agent works wonderfully and even has Voice Note Integration. Thank you AkiFlow.
