Avoid Lebara Germany at all costs. I exercised my legal 14-day right of withdrawal for an eSIM (Order ML039974261), but they refused to refund me, falsely claiming that prepaid cards are exempt from withdrawal rights. This is a direct violation of EU consumer law. Their support is completely incompetent and provides false legal information. I had to file a complaint with the German regulator (Bundesnetzagentur) and get a refund through my bank (Wise), which luckily decided the dispute in my favor immediately. Absolute disaster.
The service provider explained the process of extending my contract very clearly, was very friendly throughout and provided an excellent offer for the renewed contract. I have always been experiencing excellent support from Lebara team and highly recommend them.
The individual claiming to be a supervisor is among the least effective customer service representatives I've encountered. Arrogant and dismissive, they continually wasted my time with unclear solutions. After my fourth attempt for assistance, I found only nonsensical responses. This level of service is disappointing and unacceptable!
The representative who called me was courteous and addressed my questions, but I was supposed to get this call a few days earlier. I lost access to my messaging app and needed assistance, but by the time I received the call, I had already resolved it myself. My issue remains unresolved! There was nothing the representative could do based on our conversation. I'm still unable to receive my verification codes!
I found that the data bundle I was using was insufficient and often ran out too quickly. When I attempted to purchase more data, I discovered that the available offers were not very appealing, such as the €4 for 2GB deal, which seems rather expensive.
I want to acknowledge the teamwork of two colleagues who helped me resolve my ownership change issue today, which had been ongoing for the last 20 days. I truly appreciate their politeness and patience in understanding my problem and finding a solution, something that others had not managed to do yet. Kudos to their efforts!
