This is lebara owned by Xfera in Spain. Very different to actual Lebara UK and EU, this spanish company is very incompetent and can't manage to activate or replace sims. The customer service is Spanish but have a 'computer says no' attitude.
I placed a bonafide order online. Paid for it and then the Sim didn't work.. fault was Lebara Spain but they couldn't resolve the issue
Just told me to not buy online but go to a store and buy a sim. I asked if they would send me a replacement? No.
I spent a day on whatsapp, X and then was given the wrong spanish phone number, to be then given another number. Many minutes of roaming calls just to get my money refunded. Awful. LEBARA should remove their licence as it impacts ths brand

WIll not honour its promotional offers

I concur with the other reviews - all good until you have a problem that requires support from Lebara ES.Furthermore, I received a PROMOTIONAL OFFER that LEBARA ES REFUSES TO HONOURMy advice, dont fight it. As soon as you have an issue dont try to solve it with Lebara ES, just find an alternative supplierVery very dissapointed

Don’t waste your money on it

Waste of money. All is good until you have a problem. Then you just will not have a solution from the company. On the chat they will literally tell that they cannot do anything to help you and they don’t give any information at all.I am without datas or possibility to call since 1 month an according to them I still have to wait 15 days more.

Terrible compagny

Terrible compagny, steal sometimes money for no reason, Esim has so many issues, stop working randomly, need to pay more to re-activate it, Mobile app does not allow you to top up. worst experience ever for mobile phone service.

customer Service non-existent

Terrible experience. Bought SIM card to use in UK and in EU. As soon as I got to the EU all the settings were hijacked by vodafone. Resetting them to Lebara did not work I could not get any roaming data. Called 5588 6 times. promised complaints were not raised ; no technical support call back no help of any nature. Similar reaction from online chat. Their customer service is useless kept telling me to reset the mobile service and despite my telling them I had done everything they had asked and it still wasn't working they didn't bother to help. All I got were continuous text offering me fantastic deals to renew why would I renew when I couldn't get any roaming data. Useless service.

Save your money and a bunch of stress

My phone doesn't have the My phone doesn't have the possibility to activate an e-sim. This is one of the companies that showed up when I was looking for a physical sim to travel. The price was ok and the shipping was free. I purchased the bonus + sim that they have in order to travel a few days to and UK (Europe Included), for a 10€ and everything was supposed to be included (calls and internet). When the sim arrived I activated it and everything was working fine. The day I crossed the border and entered the UK I activated it again and nothing worked. For hours I tried: changing settings but nothing works, to contact them but the only way to do it is calling and I didn't even had phone signal, to change settings again looking through internet when I could find free wifi but nothing worked, I tried to log in in their website to find another ways to solve the problem but suddenly my number phone is not found and when I tried to ask again for the password, in theory an sms had to arrive with a link, until today nothing has arrived after doing it 20 times. I was lucky that I didn't travel alone and my friends had internet and phone signal with their companies. Save your money and a bunch of stress. Do not purchase anything from this company.

Don't buy a Lebara SIM for travel

I purchased the sim at madrid airport and was assured it would work in morocco, for which I had to choose a separate data package. The SIM cost AU$62 and was valid 28 days. I had problems when I moved from Spain to portugal, which eventually resolved. At that time, I asked about the connection in Morocco and was told that my phone would automatically connect to the Maroc network when I got to Morocco. It didn't. It connected to Orange but remained offline. After 2 hours on the whatsapp chat in Morocco, I was told that the SIM plan wouldn't work there and I needed to top up with another 5 Euros, so they could connect me in Morocco. I topped up but it still didn't work. The What's app chat needs to be conducted over wifi, is slow and in this case was completely unhelpful. Needless to say, the SIM is now useless and I have removed it.

Lebara outside the EU

At my company, we use Lebara.es SIM cards with top-up (bono) plans. Normally, we’re able to travel outside of Spain without any major issue, perhaps just a small surcharge for making calls. However, we've recently encountered a significant problem when traveling to the UK.Although I understand the UK is no longer part of the EU, we experienced a complete loss of service, no signal, no roaming, nothing. Not only was I unable to make calls, but people in Spain couldn’t reach me either. This level of disconnection is something I’ve never experienced before with any provider. Unfortunately, it means we’ll all need to switch to a different service that can guarantee coverage, especially for essential travel.
