Feb 2026. First time to use this airport so a bit scary trying to find the correct parking area. Signs/directions to find the correct parking area could be better signposted. The worry of taking the wrong turn and ending up in the wrong car park made it a stressful experience. Once that hurdle overcome, then a pleasant experience - we picked a car park - the grey one, which was near to the terminal. It was approximately a 4 min walk. The next hurdle was security. Travelling in half term (Feb 26) it struck us that the security facilities were not big enough to cope with the number of travelers - we imagined it would be a horror story travelling in the summer months. Once through security it was the same experience as at every other airport. Summary:- The stress factors were the parking and security. If you know the airport well then maybe not BUT....if you are using it for first time then it is stressful and could be made easier.
Their customer service and service on exit was simply outstanding and I would like to THANK them for this, for what could have been a painful experience late at night!
My error I parked in Short Stay not Premium Short Stay as I had paid for. They quickly sorted it out for me and I excited quickly with no issues or causing any other customers delay on their exit.
Car park is located so close to the airport with quick easy and safe route to the airport.

My flight was redirected to another airport, and we were then transported by bus to our original destination. As a result, instead of leaving the parking area around 20:00, it was well past midnight. Upon exiting, I was faced with a £60 surcharge that I had to pay. To make matters worse, there was no way to contest the charge or obtain a receipt.
Unyielding policies and inadequate customer support – highly discouraged I reserved airport parking about a week prior to my trip and mistakenly chose 4pm instead of 4am. I realized this error right away, but the terms and conditions prohibit any changes or cancellations within 14 days of travel. This seems utterly unreasonable – standard online purchases in the UK typically allow for a 48-hour cooling-off period to rectify mistakes or cancel, yet this service exploits a loophole regarding 'services' to avoid providing basic flexibility. I reached out to customer support immediately, explained my honest mistake, and was bluntly told there was nothing that could be done. I was informed I would need to pay for additional hours upon arrival (which is quite costly). When I inquired about extending the booking from the beginning (4am onwards), my question went unanswered. Instead, I received a condescending message stating that 'on this occasion' they would refund me and permit me to rebook. This indicates that the option is available – they simply opt not to provide it unless pressured. It feels like a policy crafted to deny refunds even when customers act promptly, and it appears deliberately designed to trap you. If a booking is made within 14 days and a customer contacts them within 48 hours, there should be an automatic option for refunds or amendments. As it stands, the policy is rigid, misaligned with contemporary online service expectations, and the customer service response is dismissive. A very disappointing experience from the airport parking service.
