Review Time
I found exactly what I needed on Lighting Direct's website and ordering was straightforward. I was kept informed of the likely arrival time and the item arrived as expected. It appears to be exactly correct and in good order. However, their courier, contracted via Evri (Hermes, as was), left the box on our doorstep without apparently trying the doorbell or knocking. I tried the bell, once we realised the goods were there from an email advising that they had been delivered! The bell worked and could be heard everywhere inside. We were in the house, fortunately, otherwise this large box would have sat in full view of the public street, relying only on the integrity of passers by to avoid the package being taken by someone. It's a shame when an excellent product/service is let down by the courier's conduct. 3* not 5*, so may not use Lighting Direct again.

THhe delivery time was excellent.I wanted some outdoor lights powered by solar that would light my steps.This is the first evening and one lamp appears to be operating well and the PIR is effective. The other lamp is staying on all the time without being activated by the PIR. I hope that this is just a settling down problem. The lamps look as neat as expected and they feel well made.It is early days but if they work correctly will do a super job.08/02/2023 After nearly 2 months of operation the lamps are working better than I could have hoped.Excellent purchase.
This is the first time I have used lighting direct and I am really happy with their service so far. The website is easy to manoeuvre around and the products look great. The item was delivered quickly and efficiently within a few days, packaged well with a fragile sticker attached.
