Unfortunately my experience with loghouse is anything but good Their aftersales service is practically non existance and they rarely ever answer an email back From day one my Logcabin leaked water in through the walls and I have five pages of details logging complaints. Eventually after a long time they came back and insulated the outside of the cabin which meant they had to move out the windows and doors. Then the shingles on the roof started to come off so they had to come back again and sort this out Now one of the windows they moved out started leaking water in badly. They eventually came out and drilled a hole in the window frame to let the water out and said they would replace the window but after six months and several emails from me to them they have not come back Not even answering my emails and you cannot ring the service department Very bad serviceI got a reply through this site asking me to contact them re my windows so obviously they don’t even read all the emails I have sent them Why don’t the management ring me as they are well aware of my number and email Appalling service. They are not worth even one star.I have numerous photos showing water flowing into loghouse which I’d love to upload They seem to give the same reply to anyone who writes a poor review on this site and that’s to get in contact but it’s a waste of time as they never reply
Delighted with our eco loghouse the experience was great with loghouse from start to finish. We now have a great space at the end of our garden which serves as a home office, a creative space for art, a reading/chill out room not to mention a great place for entertaining too. The overall finish was superb as was the service. The electricians on-site were great too with fitting out all our requirements. Any follow ups we had were dealt with in a timely manner. I couldn’t recommend the eco garden room and loghouse enough…… its a natural addition to our garden space.
From the initial idea to the completion of the Pod we were blown away with the service provided by Keith and Aaron and the construction team.We highly recommend Loghouse.ie and look forward to using the company again.Many Thanks for a job well done in a friendly and efficient manner.
We have been planning to get a logcabin since the lockdown as it would be perfect for our home office and I cannot be happy enough that we have decided to go with the "Loghouse". A big shout out to Keith from Bray showroom, he has spend with us over an hour going through the details and our endless questions, so we decided to go with "Greystones Log Cabin 4x3". Builders team who came to install our cabin have also been a real professionals! They have put our cabin in just 2 days! Super efficient, very punctual and even cleaned everything after they have finished. Cannot recommend this company enough. Thank you so much!
Would highly recommend loghouse! My cabin was delivered weeks earlier than expected! It only took 1 week to put the cabin up and the team were so helpful and kind! Dermot from the Athlone showrooms has also been incredibly helpful and patient with all our questions!! An amazing company!
Just a note to say how pleased we are with the new Loghouse.I was working part time from home pre lockdown but for the past few years it has almost been full time home working. I’m a consultant Accountant and spend a large part of my day on the phone or zoom calls. Our house Is small, and it was getting to the point that the home working was becoming a source of annoyance for the other family members. My daughter looked at the options for an external office and came up with LogHouse.We decided on the 3x3.3m version as our garden is relatively small and I did not require aa big workspace.I’m really delighted with our choice and the installation went without a hitch. Both teams of installers (foundations and house) were punctual, mannerly and literally never stopped working from arrival to departure. They left the site spotlessly clean after them. The total install went without a hitch and took three days in total.We could not recommend LoghHouse highly enough and the final product is beyond our expectations. We have already had friends viewing it and are thinking along the same lines as us.Thanks for your help and continued success
Very happy with our new Garden room from Loghouse. The service and the quality are by far the best you will find. We did shop around before eventually deciding to go with them. The build team were very professional and friendly. Martin in the showroom was very helpful and kept us in the loop with everything! Thanks again.
Purchased EcoHouse Developments Ltd Log Cabin in July 2022 for immediate delivery to Waterford.From the outset it was a nightmare. The one person in the company told us one thing, another told us a different thing. The communication was hopeless. The company often didn’t even answer the phone for days on end – business days. No response to emails.Our contract stated that the log cabin would have no verandah, it was erected with about one quarter of the building taken up with a verandah. One tiny room was to be removed, it was constructed with the room included. The cabin was to be painted, no painting was done, on complaint they dumped three tins of paint on the site and told us to paint it ourselves!! When we insisted they paint it they wanted €8,000 – extortion. Of course, only about a quarter of the paint required to do the whole thing.The person in charge on site was rude and difficult, left bits of wood around and didn’t fit the gutters properly so water pours through the badly fitted joins.The only professional contact we had with the company was the electrician who did the first and second fit - Lighthouse Electrical Ltd. The electricians were excellent, helpful and totally professional, and did their very best to sort out what was a sorry mess in the interior layout.We bought the log cabin in good faith, were assured it could be as we required and we paid up front.Sadly, the company did not keep its side of the bargain and would not respond in any way when we tried to sort it out. Perhaps we would have had more luck if we hadn’t paid all the money up front. All in all, it was a very demoralising experience with an inefficient and difficult company. Never again.
