I am still waiting for my bicycle to arrive, I understand delivery's can sometimes take a little longer to arrive but please have the courtesy respond to my emails asking for update delivery date. Its most frustrating when LVR cycles communicates when your purchasing the item but then stops all communication when purchase has been placed. PLEASE REPLY TO EMAILS REQUESTNG ORDER DELIVERY UPDATE
I ordered a BMC No.58 rear hanger it was paid in full on the day of ordering, since Thu 29 May when the order was placed and accepted by LVR Cycles nothing has been delivered, I have sent more than 15 mails to LVR Cycles about the order, their service is poor. They say the address is incorrect, however I have ordered the same item from another online company (Bike INN) it was delivered one day before the date they said it would be delivered, that's service, with the same address. Now the funny thing is LVR Cycles keep sending me discount codes for my next order, I don't think I will ever order from LVR Cycles again. The online team are rude and has 0 service level, they just take the money and don't care if the order is fulfilled. Personally I would keep clear of LVR Cycles
I ordered two items on April 27th, 2025. Today is now May 13th, 2025. I should be receiving my order this week at the latest. I received no correspondence surrounding when I should expect to receive my items. After requesting information yesterday as to when I should expect my order and what the tracking number is, I received an email today that states that my order is in transit to the shipping centre, and that I will receive an automatic email informing me of the shipping departure, along with a link to track my package on the carriers website. I have been waiting 3 weeks for my package that wasn't even shipped yet. They still haven't provided me with when my package will arrive at the LVS shipping center, or when it will actually be shipped. Items that are labelled in stock are not. They order items, have them delivered to LVS, and then sending them out to customer. If this is the case, they should be honest and transparent. I have no Idea when I should expect to receive my order. That is a problem. Is this place a scam? Are they placing my money in the bank for interest, or profiting from the foreign exchange? On April 14th, 2025 I received a response to an email I sent them yesterday, containing the info I wrote above in addition to requesting for a full refund. They started the email with, "Hello, First of all, we sincerely apologize for the lack of clear communication and for the delay in processing your order." With them starting with "First of all," I thought the representative intended on telling me off. Maybe that was their original intent and then they edited their email response. There has been a pattern throughout this review page of representatives of LVR Cycles communicating very aggressive to customers who raised valid concerns and have made solid complaints. In addition, reading through the reviews, many of their apologies seem backhanded or accusatory. The representative then provided the usual excuse of unexpected logistical issues with their warehouse causing the processing time to take longer than usual (yet this has been a regular occurrence for may customers). Then they added, the item I ordered is now on its way from their warehouse (another company) to their workshop and should be shipped to me very soon. If this is the case, then why do they not inform customers ahead of time that items may take up to 15 days to arrive from their supposed warehouse (another company) to their workshop, prior to it being shipped, instead of having customers wait three weeks with no correspondence, and then email this information as a response to customers trying to find out what is happening. At this point how does telling me my package will be shipped to me very soon, reassure me? Following this, they had the nerve to tell me that they understand my frustration, really? This was followed by saying that they are not a scam, they do not profit from holding funds or from currency conversion. So this is supposed to reassure me because they said so? Do scammers ever say that they are scamming us? in addition, they proceeded to say that their goal is always to deliver as quickly and transparently as possible. Are you kidding me? Quickly, with them ordering item that they say they have in stock, waiting until they receive them and then shipping it out with a faulty yet expensive delivery service that they claim to use to reduce expenses? Transparent by keeping customers in the dark until they complain and then continuing to keep them in the dark by not having any way of knowing if and/or when they are going to receive a tracking number, or if the items are really received from their "warehouse" ready to be mailed out? As a customer I still don't know if they paid off people to write fake positive reviews and whether or not this is a scam, as I have ordered from Europe many times before with reasonable shipping fees, an immediate tracking number, multiple emails informing me on the progress of my shipment, and receiving the items within 2 weeks. In response to my refund request of $183.94 CAD, they said if there is no progress with the shipment by next week, they will proceed with a full refund of $183.94 CAD, as you requested, if that solution is acceptable to me.4 days ago, a representative said that they have given me the option to cancel the order and get a refund, but I chose not to. This is deceptive. To reiterate, when I asked for an immediate refund the response was that if there was no progress with the shipment by next week, they will provide me with a full refund, if that is acceptable to me. Also, info. regarding the status of my order was only provided after 3 weeks when I placed a complaint & review. They said this is a rare occurrence, yet you see the same pattern throughout several reviews. Their lack of accountability tells me that they will not change.
I ordered online 2 sets of presta valves conversion kit for the bike (some 50gr weigh total?) and they charged me just for the delivery 15€, more than the valves itself. I actually paid extra a bit for delivery at home.Yet, after checking tracking, i noticed that they could not deliver it as it was missing the door number and contact information (both information were in the order acknowledgement sent by LVR, so they had the info). I had to call and give the information to the transporter. Next day, nothing happened. Another day passed, and i just receive the info by sms that i have to pick up the package in a bookstore some km away....I would not complain about the absourdous amount of money (more than the cost of the valves), 15€ to deliver 50gr of valves, at my home, because i accepted it. Yet, i took me days, calls, and in the end, pick it myself! If you want to make money with deliveries, well, at least contract companies that actually deliver well, and works with the data i provided.I will not buy from here again, prefer to go to amazon. Sorry local bikeshops, but with this service, I will not support you anymore.
