The sales team excels at presenting an idealized experience, but once you make your purchase, everything falls apart. The sales manager is ineffective and unprofessional. The after-sales service is atrocious; repairs take ages, if they happen at all. Emails go unanswered, and phone calls are often ignored. They make grand promises during your visit, but nothing gets resolved. Selling your caravan back is a nightmare, and I received a fraction of what I paid. If possible, I would give this company less than 1 star. Please, do not buy a caravan from these pirates. The sales team is skilled at selling you the 'dream' and taking your money. However, the after-sales service is utterly ineffective. Avoid dealing with the sales manager, who is a liar and unprofessional. They sold us a caravan for £40000 and offered just 10% of that when we wanted to sell it back, even within a couple of years. I bought a caravan for £38000 four years ago and was offered £5000. The caravan is in pristine condition and worth at least £25000. They won't let you sell it on-site and will charge a fortune to disconnect it. Please steer clear of this company.
I stayed at this location and left after just two nights due to the terrible conditions. The first caravan smelled horrendous, like stale cigarettes. After complaining, we were moved to a supposedly cleaned caravan that had stains on the carpet and a lack of privacy. There were unclean items left behind, and the shower was in disrepair. Additionally, the proximity to the train line made for a noisy stay. There was litter throughout the site, which is concerning for pet owners. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
I strongly advise against giving this company a deposit; you will likely never see it again. I lost £16750 with no concern from them. Only part with cash once the deal is finalized and ensure you have financing. I made the mistake of agreeing to buy a caravan without securing finance first. I was declined, and despite having a good credit score, they claimed I failed. Be cautious and don't feel pressured into giving a deposit.
If I could, I would rate their customer service less than one star. DO NOT BUY A CARAVAN FROM THIS COMPANY! They show no care or consideration. We've been waiting almost 6 months for them to reach out regarding buying back a caravan after my parent's passing. Despite numerous calls and emails, no one responds. When I visited, the sales manager was completely unhelpful. They promised to resolve it quickly, but nothing has happened. The caravan was purchased for £34000, and they only offered £5000 for it, without even bothering to view it. They were persistent during the sale but indifferent afterward.
I stayed at this location and found the cafe was never open. The owner indicated he would open and close it at his convenience. The shuttle bus between sites was not operational, and there was a lack of activities on-site. The receptionist was not helpful at all.
