Jayne was an absolute pleasure to deal with at the Ellesmere port branch....To be fair all the staff there are so attentive.You can tell its a family business as the attention to detail is outstanding....Well done to all concerned.
I am sat here today 15th sept 2025, picking up my J7. I wish to state that Mark Jones has been exemplary in facilitating my purchase. He simplified everything for me, all in basic terms no bull. Simply put if you want an easy way to purchase a car, then see Mark.
As ever, Faye and the service team came up trumps when my car was in due to a recall for a minor fault. Faye was very helpful in arranging a time that was convenient around my work schedule as a nurse. The work was completed in a timely manner, while I waited. Very happy with the service I received.
I’m awarding this one star for the front of house reception team as they have always been cheerful and pleasant. Unfortunately, they are masters of the BS and will palm me off with any mumbo jumbo just to get me feeling satisfied.My Ford Focus developed a coolant problem so I decided that as this was a big issue only Ford technicians would be qualified to deal with it.I realised that it might not be a quick fix so I said they could keep the car overnight. Two weeks later !!!! It’s still in the workshop and awaiting parts. Eventually, I called the premises and was told that it was ready to collect and the price would be £2,281.73 !!!!!!!! OMG.I collected it and paid the bill just happy to eventually get my car back. As I drove out of the premises I noticed that the dash was showing 3 active messages. One, I was already aware of (the parking assist) but there were two new ones which hadn’t been there when I had dropped off the vehicle. These were an engine service now light and the hill start assist light. I telephoned the receptionist and was told to bring it back in which I did that evening. I was promised that I would be kept informed of the progress (which never happened) and I would be telephoned the next day. The next day with no communication I rang them only to be told that it needed a road test but as this was near closing time I would have to wait until the following day.The following day I duly collected my car and found that the 3 active messages were still showing despite being told by reception that the mechanic had been on a 40 mile test drive and had checked everything to be faultless.By now I just wanted to get out of this place so left for home to complete this review.I am writing this review as a warning for other potential customers. M53 Ford are only interested in selling you a vehicle but have no interest in after car service or repairs. You have been warned.
I went in to have a look as due a company car, not able to buy from here, but that didn't make a difference to the team here. They not only let me look around and sit in the cars, ask questions but also let me test drive the 2 cars I was choosing between. I honestly would recommend them. They didn't have to do any of the above, and am used to being brushed off from other places. Matt (Jones) was very knowledgeable on both the cars and helped me make my decision. When I am in the market to buy myself I will definitely be buying from M53 Ford. Thanks guys.

Great service by Owen from the start. I went to view some cars, not 100% sure of the model I preferred. I was approached by Owen, he was friendly & confident, very knowledgeable, asked if I needed any help, was not pushy or overbearing, no sales patter. He asked what my needs were, recommended some models, he said he’d go and get some keys to see the interiors/boot space of some of the cars. I took a shine to one car, took it for a test drive. Decided it was the one. Smooth sailing doing the paperwork, transferring funds & collecting the vehicle. Offered what I thought was a fair price on my Car in part exchange. Spoke to a Chris & Dave whilst there, both were friendly & knowledgeable. Would highly recommend this branch you won’t be disappointed.
called into m53 ford to look at new omoda cars was greeted by jamie.i found jamie to be very knowledgable in all aspects of the car.so i bought one...on pick up jamie was excellent showed me all the gadgets in the car set up my app on my phone..everythink was a breeze from start to finish..i found jamie very approachable and friendly ...il be bringing my son inlaw along shortly to buy one and would highly reccomend the car and the service you get at m53 ford.
Dealt with neil morris while buying my Ford focus estate he went out of his way to be helpful chased everything up extremely hard working bloke would definitely recommend him at m53 ford to family and friends made my experience of buying a car as stress free as possible cheers mate
I have just took delivery of my ford puma what can I say the customer service off all the staff in this show room is excellent nothing is too much trouble and Jayne Brown is exceptional with her knowledge and customer service I first spoke to Jayne two weeks ago and I feel like I have gained a friend so if anyone is thinking about visiting a ford dealer give M53 ford Ellesmere port a visit ask for Jayne you will not be disappointed.
