Review Time
LAX CHRYSLER DODGE JEEP RAM had a great price and delivery time for the NEW 2025 Pacifica, but they are so unorganized and unprofessional regarding how they conduct sales that we'll never work with them again.
We had an appointment scheduled at noon on a Friday to sign the new vehicle paperwork, deliver the purchase check, and so forth. BUT, at almost exactly at noon, the salesperson called and suddenly needed all kinds of data, credit info [it's being paid for by a Cashiers Check and at the last minute they want Credit info???], they asked for additional paperwork completed and notarized, and so forth. WHAAAAA??? They wait until minutes AFTER the appointment time set up to sign documents and then they suddenly decided that piles of prerequisite documentation must be completed before hand. NOTE: the BUYER owns a very large downtown company with hundreds of employees, and thousands of customers. IF LAX CHRYSLER had even a single iota of professionalism, consideration, and respect, those suddenly very important documents could have been forwarded to the BUYER during the WEEKS of time leading up to the purchase appointment. As it was, due to LAX CHRYSLER's being so incredibly disorganized, that the BUYER had to disrupt his entire afternoon schedule to accommodate all the unexpected extra effort. LAX CHRYSLER had DAYS in which to prearrange documentation, instead of waiting until Minutes AFTER the appointment time to throw everything at the BUYER at once. BUYERS team had to search out a mobile notary and all the unexpected extra work and documentation disrupted the BUYERS entire accounting department, throughout the entire extremely busy Friday afternoon. IDIOTS !!!
A very nice lady named Lily called from LAX CHRYSLER, but we had no inclination to talk with her, especially after the LAX CHRYSLER salesperson singlehandedly devasted the BUYERS entire accounting department for hours.
GREAT PRICES on new vehicles, but TERRIBLE lack of coordination within their SALES organization.
I wanted to avoid trading in my vehicle, but the sales representative was overly aggressive, and I ended up feeling pressured. I was in a rush and had already received pre-approval from my bank, indicating I needed about two weeks to finalize things due to work commitments. They requested my credit card to hold a deposit, but the finance representative used it without my consent to buy new plates for the vehicle, even though I could have used my existing plates instead. When I returned to sign, I was told that the deal was losing momentum, and despite my hesitations, I felt compelled to agree because they insisted they had already secured plates. In hindsight, I wish I had stood my ground and walked away. Unfortunately, I felt rushed and didn't. I do not recommend this dealership for purchasing a vehicle. I personally will never return, and I've already shared my experience with a coworker who has decided against buying from here. They misrepresented the situation regarding the credit card hold and the plates, claiming I needed new ones when that wasn't the case. The sales tactics felt deceptive, and the price markup on decent trucks is significant. I received $43,500 for my truck, but they were asking $56,500, which felt unfair. So, be cautious if you consider buying from the sales department here. On a positive note, the service department was excellent and fair in my experience.
I initially wanted to avoid trading in my vehicle, but the salesperson was overly aggressive. They requested my credit card to hold a deposit, but the finance representative used it without my consent to buy new plates, even though I could have used my old ones. When I returned to sign, I was pressured into a deal that I didn’t want, and I regretted not sticking to my original plan. I felt misled about the credit card hold and the plate situation. I wouldn't recommend this sales department based on my experience. I have already told a colleague about my negative experience, which cost them another potential sale. The salesperson’s claims about a fair deal were misleading, with significant markups on vehicles. Buyer beware.
After waiting to purchase my favorite truck, I finally bought the 21 Ram 1500 Built to Serve edition. However, just over a year later, I experienced a leaking rear window. The dealer acknowledged a crack in the window frame, which they said is common for these models. Despite my research showing this issue has existed since 2014, they refuse to take responsibility and expect consumers to pay for repairs with no guarantee against future leaks. Additionally, there are electronics in the rear seats that could be damaged by water. This reflects poor build quality and inadequate customer service.
Every time I lease a vehicle from this dealership, they seem to find a way to disappoint me regarding service. Currently, I have a recall item that has gone unaddressed for nearly two months, and I have not received any follow-up after bringing in my truck.
I own a 2023 electric vehicle that came with a warning not to drive it if the battery is charged and to avoid parking it in a garage due to potential explosion risks. There’s no solution offered for this issue. The support team has case managers who don’t respond, and reaching them involves long wait times. This situation is incredibly frustrating, as I was charged extra at the dealership. It feels like a total failure on their part. I was promised callbacks from my agent and case manager, but I’ve received nothing. Now I’m left with a vehicle I’m advised not to use.
I have serious concerns about the design and engineering of the 2021 Ram 1500 Big Horn. The placement of the oil filter is poorly thought out, and the individual who approved this design should be held accountable. The oil fill location is also ill-conceived. However, I will give credit for improvements made to the air intake box, which now uses hex head screws instead of clips. Overall, the design and engineering quality is subpar.
This vehicle offers an excellent and relatively affordable way to enjoy a comfortable driving experience. In my youth, I mistakenly associated this brand with luxury vehicles, perhaps due to the comfort it provides. Whenever I ride in my friend's vehicle from this brand, I feel a sense of calm and peace, with a smooth ride over bumps.
