Delivery was slow but I put that down to the time of year. My parcel was not packaged appropriately, so was damaged upon arrival. After reading the website, I assumed everything would be vintage (as there's no mention of their selling modern items in their FAQ's, T's&C's or website description) so purchased a bundle. Admittedly not reading the full product description.I contacted customer service after receiving my order. 10 days passed & I still hadn't had a response. I emailed again & quickly received a very curt response addressing the fact that mixed items were mentioned (only) in the listing & didn't address the damage to my parcel (which comprised an item inside). The website is misleading on this basis. The items I received are also very low quality.Won't be ordering from them again.
Maia used to be so good. What is going on?I have ordered from this company several times, and all been good up until now. I placed an order at the beginning of January. Heard nothing, no replies to emails, no reply on WhatsApp ...Come on guys. You used to be ace. Please send my order 6754. I would rather have the goods than be forced to do a charge back.
Order #6745I ordered this on the 3rd of Jan and yet to receive my full order. I spent over £2,700 on this one order where I purchased 550 crazy jackets and 700 animal t shirts. They sent all the t shirts plus a complimentary 20 which they had thousands on their site listed at a 70% off so I imagine they're just trying to get rid of them asap. However only half of the jackets arrived, which I imagine they only sent me the jackets they currently have in stock and have sold more than they actually have in hand which is not was agreed when I purchased them, This wouldn't be a problem however they've blatantly lied to me about posting the remainder of the jackets claiming I should have received them last mon/tues (now being the next Thursday) and are constantly ignoring the emails I'm sending on a daily basis. Bearing in mind it took them ages to ship them as the pallet previously fell over so that was a whole ordeal which I was completely understanding about at the time, however with them just ignoring me now I have no other way to go about this other than a chargeback as their customer support is non existent. I have a friend who did an order before Christmas and he hasn't heard anything of receiving it either. If you do order they don't provide tracking so you won't know when it's coming and since this order it seems that their website is down so there's really no way to reach them. This company is definitely from my experience the within the top 2 worst in the business and I have tried over 15 wholesalers throughout the years.
Have ordered twice from Maias Vintage wholesale, first time was good and nothing came as unexpected, second time I bought two x 50 jumpers however have only received one of the 50 and have emailed 3 times since however no response as of yet. Also delivery is very hard to track.
The worst service I've ever seen. I ordered 100 corduroy shirts and the material I received did not match what I ordered. After several unsuccessful attempts to contact them to resolve the problem, I will be filing a complaint with the European Consumer Centre.
Edit: Almost a month since this review was written and still no sign of contact, I have opened a chargebackI am very disappointed with my last two bundles from Maia's Vintage Wholesale. I had previously left a genuine 5 star review, but they are simply not living up to the 5 star rating anymore and so I have to change it. I have left my original 5 star review at the bottom if you wish to see it.The last knitwear lot I purchased from Maia's contained a LOT of modern fast fashion items, including Shein branded items. I reached out on Instagram and, whilst replies were slow and I had to follow up multiple times when left without a reply, I did eventually receive a partial refund for the items I received that were damaged or Shein, H&M, etc. This one was worse. I initially counted 17/50 items to have significant damage that renders them B or even C grade items. Any jumpers that have a higher resale value - such as Eddie Bauer - had serious faults. That doesn't seem like a coincidence. I have since found a couple more holes. So I reached out over email, and asked for a £48 partial refund. That is - the amount of damaged items in the bundle over the 10% threshold they claim for accidental mis-grades. Or in other words, their own policy. I also included a link to a Google drive folder containing detailed photos of each flaws, including multiple small holes, multiple gaping holes, a broken zip, details completely coming off. At this point I wasn't that annoyed yet - mis grades happen right?Well email one had no reply in 4 days, despite a promise of a 48 hour reply window. Email two, slightly more intense, and I also popped them a message on Instagram in case they accidentally missed the email, no reply for 2 days. So I've decided to leave an honest bad review on hopes somebody would get in contact with me.The customer service is deeply disappointing, especially considering when I left my original 5 star review the customer service is what stood out as above industry standard. But that, along with the poor grading, is simply not good enough. I don't know what went wrong.Original 5 star review:I've bought twice from Maia's, both funky knitwear bundles and the contents have been fantastic. I've tried a lot of wholesalers and seem to always get grade C stock in grade A lots but Maia's bundles have both been consistently grade A and they look fantastic on my Depop shop. Customer service is also prompt and informative. I would definitely recommend buying from here!
I’ve used pretty much every wholesale company in the uk and this one is by far the worst one. They have the worst customer service team. I bought 150 hoodies/sweatshirts and 25 was missing from the order. I’ve sent multiple emails regarding this that have been ignored with no contact from them. 3 of the items where also obvious fakes that I can’t sell as a reseller so if you’re also a reseller like me I’d avoid using them as there is Atleast 5 uk wholesalers that go above and beyond with quicker delivery times, quicker customer service who care about the product you receive and overall better quality.
Disappointed to have to leave this review after reaching out directly with no response in a week.I purchased a pre-order of 50 Columbia fleeces in August for delivery in November. These fleeces have now arrived, the battered items do not remotely resemble the stock images. 39/50 are women’s apparel which can’t be normal proportions? The fleeces themselves have none to little resale value and are not something I would feel comfortable selling.Unfortunately, this order (my first) has been a monumental waste of time. The idea of profit with this level of apparel is laughable. The issue with buying from a ‘lucky dip’ business model is that it can be used to defend valueless and poor quality clothing. Together with unresponsive communication surely can’t lead to much repeat customers.I have donated the fleeces to charity so some good can come from this order.
