Ripoff merchantsThey hit me with an EUR 149.99 charge that I did not authorise for a manual that I could easily download for free from other webites, including the manufacturer's own site.Obviously a scam - the manual was for a phone system that I could replace for less than half that charge.The website manualsmate.com is now offline and not findable.
Scam!! Ordered a manual for a hot water bolier as we have just moved to France and don't understand it. It cost a few euros. Never received anything and have now been charged £127!!! have now got to mess about going through fraud with the bank which I can do without!! AVOID THIS SITE LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!!
You were unable to find the correct manual but sent details of one similar. Not very helpful. Then I got charged £128 for a subscription which I had not knowingly requested. Now you have found the correct manual which you have sent, for which I thank you very much. I also thank for the refund of £128. In the meantime I contacted SIMDER who sent me a free copy of the correct manual so now I have 2.
Do NOT use this company. I paid the 99p subscription for a door bell manual (which I later found was freely available elsewhere) but Manualsmate did NOT send the manual to me until much later. Weeks later I found my bank account had been debited for 89.95 on a rolling subscription basis. A new doorbell costs 20 quid. Complete Scammers - don't use this service.
