Bought a whole cooked chicken on Saturday in the Stevenage branch. It was red and certainly not cooked we had to throw it away as it made us feel sick looking at it and to be honest couldn’t be bothered to take an uncooked chicken back when we don’t live round the corner. They sent a survey so we completed that. You just don’t expect this standard from any supermarket I have never bought a cooked chicken that hasn’t been nicely cooked until now. Shame on you M and S.

All the rest show as "unkown"
Meat that is in the mainstream has been slaughtered by the halal method, yet not labelled. Animals not give then full instant, humane non recoverable stun. They will be given a temporary/recovery stun that can last 15 seconds. They want them awake to be "blessed" and then they are awake to be killed.
Utterly cruel and barbaric! We do not live in Tudor England.
We do not want meat killed cruelly. We do not want another faith's prayers said over our food. It is against the religion of Christians and Sikhs to eat halal meat, et many must have through sheer lack of labelling.
Customers deserve clear, honest labels so that their choice is informed.
Animals deserve proper welfare.
M and S should do better.
I love M&. The clothes are quality & there's no having to argue for a refund. As long as you have the email which they send instead of receipts which I've now got used to. They are exceptionally honest when I've tried something on & asked a staff member "what do they think." They've always been truthful rather than say "it looks lovely" which I think is a bonus. It really matters to me which I find impressive rather than letting me buy any item of clothing to go home only to think "Oh no, I'll have to take it back. Superb shop & terrific customer services.
Another parcel was incorrectly delivered by the service, clearly not arriving when they claimed it would, and not to my address either. The delivery photo shows a dark close-up of a hand placing the parcel in a generic waste bin (not ours), and coincidentally, it's bin collection day tomorrow, so all the bins are out in the area. It's quite ridiculous. Seriously, who in the company is deciding to continue using this service? Don't they keep up with the news or social media? It's disappointing, especially since the brand has so much potential.
Thank you M. & S customer service. Contacted them after a parcel was delivered today to my rubbish bin. Heard a knock at the door but Evri person had put parcel in bin by time I opened the door. Told me I took too long to open the door. Wasn’t expecting delivery today. In the past bins have been emptied on recycle day and parcel lost.Told M & S about experience and person said that was unacceptable. So zero stars to Evri and five stars to M & S. They need to know they are being let down by delivery service. Tried contacting Evri and left comments in past and today but still they deliver to bins.
Once again, I've ordered clothes from M&S and they fail to deliver. The problem is always their delivery company, Evri. I always get a long list of their so-called "delivery attempts", but they never come anywhere near my house (I have CCTV cameras so I know that they are telling lies). It's simple for them to leave parcels in my delivery box, 5m from the road (where they can easily park). I've had to repeatedly complain and M&S always say they will look into the problems but nothing ever changes. It's a waste of time trying to communicate with Evri - they deliberately get you running round in circles.
I would give zero stars if possible. My mother's birthday gift hasn't arrived 11 days after placing the order, and despite contacting the support team, my issue was ignored for several days. I've now been informed that the item is out of stock and will be refunded. Terrible service—I've been greatly let down.
Told my clothing item would be delivered "between 0700 and 2100 TODAY. It's now 22:45 and NOTHING has turned up. If I'd known they were using the useless cheap Evri 'couriers', I'd have never placed the order. The M&S website has NO means of emailing them - the 'contact us' link just goes around in circles. There was a time when Marks and Spencer were a respectable name on the UK high street. Not any more. I've wasted my money, will have to drive into town and buy what I need and assume that I've been fleeced by M&S and/or Evri. I wish I'd read the Trustpilot reviews before ordering. Won't be using this store again.

I visited the Opticians in the Stevenage store. They couldn't have been more helpful. After many tests and a serious discussion it was agreed that the prescription was correct, and that the only improvement would be the removal of cataracts, for which a referral was made.
