Ordered a mattress before Xmas...It was defective & dipping in the middle. Paid extra for an exchange.Waited 5 weeks,being fobbed off about manufacturers & couriers.Now received an email informing response to mine,saying they're no longer trading! This company have defrauded hundreds of people! Pure filth!!

Dreadful company. I ordered my mattress on 12 January with confirmation email of 3-7 working days delivery (which the site still states). I’m still waiting and I have not had any update other than an excuse about changing couriers and the snow. Poor communication and false delivery instructions
Ordered mattress on 1st January, it is now the 19th and as far as I know it's not been dispatched! Do not believe their delivery process, half of what they say happens, doesn't. I've contacted 3 times about the status of my order, had 1 reply saying it would be here at the end of last week, but again no dispatch email or change in status or importantly a mattress! My latest email asked to cancel the order & get a refund but surprise surprise, no response yet! Not impressed at all & will actively avoid in future.
Avoid this company at all costs — in my experience, they will take your money and you’ll have to fight to get it back.Order date: 21 June 2025 and paid via PayPal.At the time of ordering, the website stated delivery could take up to ten working days, which I accepted.I received an immediate confirmation email, followed two days later by another saying my order had been passed to their “delivery partners.”After the full ten working days passed with no delivery or further communication, I phoned The Mattress Supermarket on 8 July 2025. Ashley informed me there was a delay collecting the mattress from their supplier. I requested to cancel for a full refund, which was reluctantly agreed to.Ashley told me refunds take “up to 30 days” — despite the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 requiring online retailers to refund within 14 days. I confirmed my cancellation in writing and received a prompt reply again stating a 30-day refund period.I suspected they wouldn’t refund voluntarily but gave them the benefit of the doubt.By 30 July (three weeks later), no refund had arrived. I opened a PayPal dispute, providing full details. The company did not respond to PayPal, so PayPal forced the refund. Thankfully, I got my money back - but I believe I’d still be waiting for it otherwise.From my experience, I am not convinced this company ever intended to deliver the mattress or refund me without intervention.Avoid this company, do not order from them — or any company linked to it.UPDATE: A few hours after the above was published, I received a phone call from Megan at The Mattress Supermarket.Megan apologised for my experience and advised me it shouldn't have taken this long to receive my refund.I find it incredibly ironic how quick The Mattress Supermarket responded to my review, yet wouldn't respond to my request (or Paypal's request) for a refund.Following my telephone conversation with Megan, I'm still not convinced that this is a genuine company. Genuine companies do not operate like this.
