Review Time
I ordered a car part on MBPartsGiant.com and paid with my credit card. I received an email stating that I’d need to pay three times the original price to actually get the part. When I called Carla on 11/6/25 to address what felt like a classic bait-and-switch, I asked if anything could be done to resolve the issue. Her response? “Go ahead and leave a negative review.”She claimed the inflated pricing was disclosed in emails and on their website—but that’s not what I saw when I placed the order. I simply expected to pay the price shown and receive the part, not jump through hidden hoops or be upsold after payment. To make matters worse, Carla also informed me that the shipping timeframe I was initially quoted was incorrect and that it would take longer than expected. This experience was frustrating, misleading, and disappointing. I won’t be ordering from them again—and I’d caution others to read the fine print very carefully, assuming it’s even there.
MBPartsGiant.com is great on pricing. That is the only positive. You can expect at least a 3 week time frame from the time that you place an order and potentially receive your products. Communication could use improvement. You can expect like clock work to receive an email 1 - 2 weeks after placing your order that states there will be a delay in shipping your order. Then expect another 1 - 2 weeks before you receive your product. If you have a larger order, it may be shipped in multiple packages. They won't be able to tell you what was shipped in what package. If/when a package is lost they do more in trying to make you seem like a criminal who is trying to commit fraud to steal your own package vs actually opening an performing a proper investigation to locate the missing package. This is definitely a case of you get what you pay for. You may ultimately receive your order, but it's going to take 3 weeks at least before you receive it. If you call for the order update you'll get the same standard response and it's pretty much we'll ship it to you once we receive it. This is not the place to shop at if you have a car project with a deadline. It is the place to come to save a few dollars and they can have most Mercedes parts that otherwise you'd have to get from a junk yard or pay the dealer prices for brand new OEM parts.
This is the biggest scam of a company. DO NOT USE. I'm contacting every organization that i know and my bank. They asked me to put in my VIN and they selected the "CORRECT EMBLEM". it was the wrong one. Mercedes Benz said it was a joke. They won't return my money because I didn't have the original packaging. So they and you a random part and if you trust that they even know what they are doing. You don't think about saving the box.
SCAM COMPANY. Stay far away from mbparts.com. They sold me a defective part, and now they’re refusing to honor their own return policy. MB18100350. Absolutely unacceptable. I spoke with a so-called supervisor named Joe, rude, unhelpful, and full of attitude like I’m the problem. I’m done being polite. This company is a complete joke and a ripoff. They take your money and leave you hanging. Buyers beware! do NOT trust these scammers.
Ordered a part for my Benz, turned out to be defective. While waiting for the RMA, I ordered the replacement. I received the first communicating asking for the VIN, which I provided, now I receive certified proof of purchase. And have been instructed to take the vehicle to my local MB dealer for diagnostic and replacement part. I have the diagnostic report from a non MB dealer. The part in question is the front bearing hub, that has throw codes for ABS traction control. The closest dealer is about 50 miles away, don't feel comfortable driving the car. So to get a replacement part, I need to have the car towed to the dealer, pay for a diagnostic report that shows what the non dealer reported. WOW now spending $500 to get a $242 refund.BEWARE!!!!!!
Absolutely terrible experience with MBPartsGiant.com. I ordered a part for my Mercedes, and they sent me a damaged o/defective part. I tried to return it, and they gave me the runaround for weeks, asking for a VIN even though I told them the car was SOLD. I responded the SAME DAY they asked, and guess what? Over a month later, I’m still chasing a return label that never arrived. The so-called “manager” Joe was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. He literally told me he doesn’t care and accused me of not following up, even though I had emailed them! I offered to forward the original email or send a screenshot to prove it, he didn’t care. What kind of garbage company treats paying customers like this? Their service is a joke, their staff is a joke, and Joe should be fired immediately. If you enjoy being lied to, ignored, and disrespected, shop here. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and run the other way. Total scam behavior.
