I have just bought a new washing machine The team at McMchaels were superb They helped with choosing the machine They were tireless in their efforts to get it to me as soon as possible - the manufacturer was not particularly easy to deal with !Overall fantastic service Would definitely go back - lovely people who really look after you
First class service as always. Recently purchased a TV and received the best advice in store. The staff advised us exactly what we needed for fitment for the tv to be wall mounted. The staff in store are so friendly and knowledgeable. The tv got fitted today and the engineers were absolutely fantastic, again so knowledgeable and very respectful entering our home. They did a wonderful job and are so tidy too. We would highly recommend this company.
I came in to buy a TV. There wasn't any salespeople available but one of their staff helped me look at options, and was very knowledgeable and helpful looking at the different options and we agreed the best fit. They helped load the TV into my car, it took a bit of time to get the space clear but never felt they saw it as an issue. They were also great giving me pointers on the setup since I was happy to do so myself. Once I had got it home and had opened the packaging I was worried that I could damage it by lifting it as it was larger than I realised. On calling them, even though they were booked up in service dept for over a week for install, they popped over to do a basic install (I paid of course) that afternoon. Top star customer support and flexibility from the staff. Would use again.
My wife and I recently visited McMichaels' Sony Centre, Alloa with a view to buying a new Sony television.The service we received from Tony and his colleague Philip was second to none. Their knowledge of the products on display was incredible. Their approach and patience without ever being 'pushy' was second to none.After viewing a number of televisions we made our decision to purchase.Arrangements were then made for installers Ian and James to call and install the TV at a time convenient to my wife and I.Ian and James arrived on time on the prearranged date and quietly and without any fuss installed the TV and set up the 'settings'.They then departed, taking with them the small amount of fragments from the installation and all the cardboard box packaging and polystyrene .Over the years we have purchased a number of televisions and white goods from McMichaels'.Their prices are always very competitive and service is always first class.As a package we would highly recommend McMichaels' and their staff for top quality products and excellent personal service.
I was looking for a soundbar to compliment my 6-month-old TV. I happened to see one on eBay, however it was for repair or spares. I am not that skilled in electrical repairs. So commenced looking for a new or used example. I discovered as part of the process that the model I was seeking had been discontinued, so thought that my opportunity to secure an unused model was going to be a difficult.However, an hour looking through a number of sites I found a new model at a very competitive price.I placed my order, 90 minutes later I had a call and email from Customer Services at McMichael’s. They informed me that the soundbar, was a display model and not a new boxed item. They highlighted there was a small scratch on the subwoofer, which they thought happened during cleaning, they offered to see if they could polish it out before sending. In addition, McMichael’s would offer me and additional warranty and they offered delivery in 48 hours at no additional cost. That clinched the deal for me.The following day, Thursday, I had a confirmation despatch email from McMichael’s, later the same day the courier company verified they had the parcel and would deliver the next day, some 270 miles away and that they would confirm an hour window for delivery when it was out for delivery.I did not receive confirmation from the couriers by 11am the next day, checked on the courier’s website to discover the parcel was delayed (This was at the peak incidence of the Omicron variant), I emailed McMichael’s Customer Services to state the parcel had been delayed and as it was Friday, I was not hopeful of a weekend delivery.The Saturday morning, I received a text from the couriers stating they would deliver that morning. In the afternoon received a call from Customer Services to check that I had received the Soundbar and all was satisfactory. Such great service.On unwrapping the protective film, I found a pristine box and on opening found it all complete, looking like new. I registered the product with the Manufacturer and the same day had confirmation of the additional warranty.Overall, it was a very positive personalised experience, despite the delay from the couriers, which was not in the control of McMichael’s. It is clear that they care about their customers. Despite the distance, McMichael’s will now be my first port of call for TV, Audio & Home Appliances.
