The service I received was exceptional. It only took eight days from when I reported the fault to getting the repaired unit back. The people at Meaco were friendly and gave the information needed to pack and get the unit back to them. It helped that I still had the original box.
My Meacodry Arête One dehumidifier stopped working just under the two year warranty. I rang and explained. I had all the relevant details and proof of purchase. They were very helpful. They collected it on Thursday 29th Jan and it was returned today Wednesday 4th Feb. Everyone I spoke to was polite and very helpful.As long as you have all the required details they will help you in a very efficient way. I too had a screen fault after just under 2 years of service. Was sent a box for packing and then the unit was collected by courier. Two days after the unit was received by Meaco I received a service report via email saying that the screen, a temperature sensor and humidity sensor had been replaced and the unit was returned the next day.
This is what I call good old fashioned customer service.

I plan to return mine for a refund and will continue using my existing units as long as possible.

They promptly arranged for a large box with a free returns label to be sent to me the next day. I sent it back immediately, and my dehumidifier was returned to me within a week. I'm quite impressed and generally satisfied with the service.
