Review Time
I bought a pair of gold hoop earrings. I followed the care instructions to a T: I never showered or swam with them, kept them out of direct sunlight, and stored them carefully in a cushioned jewellery box. I didn’t even wear them every day. Then one day, the hinge completely broke off. I reached out to Mejuri’s team for help, remembering that the earrings came with a warranty. Since Mejuri claims their pieces are “made to last,” I believed they’d stand by that promise. But what did I get in response? A sorry-not-sorry message telling me they couldn’t help because the warranty only covers two years. So much for being made to last. I know this isn’t luxury-grade jewellery, but at this price point, you’d expect Mejuri earrings to outlast costume jewellery, not fall apart like them.UPDATE: Mejuri responded to my review and asked me to reach out to their team again. I did exactly that, only to receive a generic email telling me to submit a warranty claim, something I’d already done. I replied to explain this and haven’t heard back since. Still no help, and no resolution.FINAL UPDATE: After my last message, Mejuri’s team reached out with a genuine attempt to make things right. They reviewed my case properly this time and offered a resolution I’m satisfied with. I appreciate that they followed through after all the back-and-forth.
