BEWARE OF “ALL FEES INCLUDED”

I just booked our family vacation for what I thought was going to cost me around $500 for a 3 night stay almost cost me $1,000! When I was checking out, the description said “all fees included” and the price was higher than the nightly stay times how many nights we are staying. So I thought it included everything. After checking out, I get my confirmation and it’s almost DOUBLE because the “all fees included” DID NOT INCLUDE TAX!!! Beware and don’t make the same mistake I did. The hotel stay is non refundable. I would have never completed my transaction had I known this. I made the purchase from my phone so the invoice was not visible while I was checking out.

Lacking in transparency

Taxes and fees not clearly shown before clicking purchase button. Also: What are “fees!?” Too much fine print. “Savings” number is shown, but savings vs.what? Don’t know if this will turn out to be a deal or a scam.Update after their response: on iPhone, I would have had to scroll down past the Submit button (which initiates payment) to see the taxes and fees. Purchases were received. Products are not adequately described on the site, so we were surprised and disappointed with the quality of one relatively-pricey item. Their policy is “all sales final,” so there is no recourse. We will avoid this site in the future.

Hidden fees

Stated "all fees included" and didn't show any added fees until AFTER payment. That's dirty. If there's more fees, just show it BEFORE we pay.
