I won't buy from this company again. The product took an unusually long time to arrive, raising suspicions. Even though they claim to be US-based, the tracking indicates it’s coming from another country. You must log in to your account to remove payment details and cancel the subscription, or else they will keep charging you monthly.
This company employs misleading sales promotions and has hidden subscription traps. The advertised price was misleading, and I was charged more than expected with an automatic subscription I didn't agree to. Their customer support keeps offering the same cancellation instructions, even when I explain my account shows no subscriptions. I would not recommend purchasing anything from this company, as they are flagged as suspicious.
If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. I ordered my items 6 weeks ago, I have emailed them many times but get fobbed off with apologies and reassurances that do not amount to anything. The tracking they provide does not work but mentions China. Today after a 6 week wait I have received an email saying that they have received my order and are about to ship; I was emailed the same thing 6 weeks ago. I requested a refund 2 weeks ago but was told that they could not refund as the items have been shipped. Terrible service. Would not use them again. Edited to add that in response to their published response to this I have emailed them regarding the full refund that they offered and have not had a reply. ALSO £54.76 was taken from my bank 10th October for the order made 7th October. I did not agree to any subscriptions or reorders and 18th November they took another £54.76 from the same bank card. I have just raised this with my bank. I have emailed them many many times, including three times today and no reply. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. COMPLETE SCAM.
The saffron product is not made in the US nor is it third party verified. A company that pays for third party verification of ingredients will proudly share evidence of the third party verification. Methodic Wellness insists the saffron product is made in the US and is third party verified but won’t share results due to the proprietary nature of the formula. Tried to cancel my order just after ordering and they refused as it already shipped. Tracking was from China and the order never arrived so it was resent. I received it about 5 weeks after ordering. They claim they offer a 60 day refund for unopened product. I emailed immediately after receiving the order (didn’t open the very obviously made in China bottles) requesting the process to return for a refund. No response after three attempts to reach out over a week. Fortunately I caught that they automatically enrolled me in a subscription and canceled that or this would be even more of an issue. My order was almost $90 and I have a product not made in the US and not third party verified as they claim. I ordered through Shopify and have also reported the issue to them. If you had the same issue, please report and post to prevent others from losing out!If a zero star rating was an option, I would select a zero star rating.Methodic Wellness based on my experience appears to be a scam!
