This is the second pair of shoes I’ve purchased from this brand. I believe the style, design, and overall quality of their products are at a very high level.
I had an issue with my first order because the size I chose wasn’t the right fit. The customer service team was extremely kind and quick to respond, and they guided me step by step through the return process and my new purchase.
If you have any doubts about sizing, just ask them — they’ll help you!
I can’t wait to receive my amazing boots!!!
Awful customer service!
While it’s fair to only accept credit for sales items, miista can’t even keep up that side of the bargain. I’ve been in a ridiculous spat with them for 2 weeks over some boots with awful quality. They refuse to offer any remedy, have claimed ‘wear and tear’ after 2 wears. Had the nerve to offer a 10% discount as a ‘gesture of good will’. They refuse to accept any wrongdoing and keep sending passive aggressive email responses every few days.
I’m not sure who is managing this company but a report to trading standards is on the way. It’s also horrible to see this happen as this business knows their market is mainly young women. I’m sure they think we don’t know better but to accept this! I don’t have to keep shoes that you sent in the wrong size, that look shocking after 2 wears and I don’t have to keep going back and forth with your passive aggressive ‘support’ team.
Advice I have is look at this business model- is this the reputation you want?
Effectively they’re pinching a few pennies, being cheap, refusing accountability, and sabotaging their long term success. Every passive aggressive email is a couple of customers lost, a stain on their reputation and a breakdown in customer loyalty. I’ve never seen such self sabotaging practices from a business.
I am very disappointed with my experience with the brand. The shoes I received were damaged upon arrival, despite their high price tag. The quality is far from what one would expect from a brand that markets itself as premium.
When I reached out to the support team, instead of taking responsibility, I was informed about a supposed 48–72 hour window to report quality issues — a condition that was not clearly communicated during the purchase process and, in any case, should not undermine basic consumer rights.
The shoes had not been worn, and the damage clearly indicates poor materials or manufacturing, not misuse. The suggestion that the damage could result from external factors, rather than addressing the real issue, felt dismissive and unprofessional.
Paying a premium price for such low quality and then being denied a proper resolution is incredibly frustrating. This was my first and certainly my last purchase from this brand. I would not recommend it to anyone seeking quality that aligns with the price.
I purchased my first and only pair in 2022, and while they are visually appealing and receive many compliments, it's evident that these shoes are not durable. I regret making this purchase. The initial pair I received completely split from the back seam within the first six months. The company sent me a replacement pair, but less than nine months later, the leather began detaching from the sole and the sole itself started to split. They offered to cover the re-gluing, but mentioned that would be the last assistance they could provide for future issues. I declined their offer because a local cobbler did the glue work for free, clarifying it wasn't a long-term fix and that the shoes would eventually require a complete resoling due to their quality. I managed to wear them for nearly two years before the heel began to come off. Ultimately, I decided to have the shoes resoled because I appreciate the leather and stitching and wanted to extend their life. However, during this process, the leather on the sides near the big toes ripped. The cobbler claimed it wasn't due to their work but agreed to patch it at no cost. I regret attempting to repair these shoes, or buying them at all. Whenever I receive compliments, I make sure to inform others about my experience and advise against purchasing from the company. I sincerely hope they either lower their prices or improve their manufacturing quality.
I bought the Ayleen boots recently. One boot was very difficult to put on, even following their suggested method, but I was told to wear them at home to soften the leather. After just an hour of wear at work, I noticed a manufacturing defect on the toe. Reviewing my unboxing photos, I realized the flaw was there from the beginning. I reached out to customer support with evidence and was only offered a 10% refund on the €280 purchase. After providing further proof that the defect was present before wear, I received no response, despite previous communication. It's disheartening because I truly love the design and wanted to keep the boots. I expected product quality and customer service to reflect the price. They are beautiful boots, but my overall experience with the service has been disappointing.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I saved up to buy some boots, only for the leather coating to start peeling off after just 2.5 months. The company's response was that it was normal wear and tear, so they wouldn't offer a replacement or repair. This is unacceptable for a product at this price point. I usually think negative reviews are from a minority, but I strongly advise against wasting your money, even if you like the design.
I was thrilled to make my first purchase but made a couple of mistakes, selecting the wrong size and missing a 10% discount. I reached out to customer care for help, and thankfully, the representative was amazing! They resolved my issues with kindness and efficiency. I can't wait to receive my first pair!
The designs are stunning, but do not waste your money; the quality is incredibly disappointing, even worse than what you'd expect from high street brands. Within months, the 'leather' began to bubble and peel, rendering them unwearable after six months. It took me a while to contact them since they were at the back of my closet, and when I finally did, I received polite but unhelpful customer service. They consider this normal wear and tear.
I purchased my first pair in 2022, and while they are stylish and receive many compliments, it's evident they aren't built to last. I regret my decision. The first pair I got split at the back seam within six months. The company replaced them, but less than nine months later, the leather started detaching from the sole, which also began to split. They offered to cover the re-gluing, but informed me that would be their last support for any future issues. I declined as my cobbler did it for free, but warned it wouldn't be a lasting fix, and the shoes would eventually need complete resoling due to quality concerns. I managed to wear them for almost two years before the heel started falling off. Ultimately, I had them resoled because I loved the leather and stitching and wanted to salvage them. During the process, the leather near the big toes tore. The cobbler insisted it wasn't their fault but offered to patch it for free. I regret trying to fix them or buying them at all. Now, when I receive compliments, I make sure to inform people of my experience and advise against purchasing from the company. They should consider lowering their prices or improving their manufacturing processes.
The lack of clear information regarding customs duties has left me out of pocket by 180CHF for items I won't be keeping. While it's mentioned in the terms and conditions, it isn't highlighted during the checkout process, and no estimates are provided. In today's world, you expect these fees to be included.
