I purchased a bus ticket at 10.58am from Ferrol (Caranza) to Santiago de Compostella. But I had arrived at the station around 10.45am. Well, the bus never came. I waited up until F 12pm and it NEVER CAME. NONE of the phone number given worked. No information. No explanations. None of the drivers from the SAME company knew anything. I asked Spanish people what was going on and they responded "oh yes, it happens all the time, it bonkers here". I tried to submit a complain for a refund (8euros) and the website doesn't work. Each time I press "enter" it says "an error happened. please try again". I tried 5 times. WTH. If it wasn't for a nice lady who literally saved my life I would have missed my plane. DO NOT USE this company. They will rip you off nicely and say nothing about it.
We travelled today to Muxia. We booked the tickets at the Santiago Bus station and asked for return tickets at 3pm. At Muxia the bus driver did not want to let us on and said our tickets were for 5 pm. He said his bus was full. After all the other passengers with tickets got on he accepted people who paid directly to the driver but still did not want to let us on as he said his bus was full. There were 23 empty seats on the bus. He let on a Spanish person who had a ticket for 5 pm but still did not want to let us on. We said we would pay again and he very reluctantly let us on. We were discriminated against because we were not Spanish. We are in our 70’s and found this experience very upsetting. It does not speak well of your bus service.
I used this bus to go to Fisterra/ Finisterre and Santiago de Compostela. It was late at the departure this morning around 30 minutes and then for the return on afternoon, the departure was earlier, at 6.30 pm in the port at Fisterra instead 6.45 p.m. So be careful with them, you could left your bus and also you hostel booked. Good luck!
It was a ride from A Coruña, Spain to Porto Airport in Portugal. Terrible customer service. The toilet in the bus didn’t work. Because of that at every station passengers needed to go in to look for toilets. The driver was extremely rude, and was screaming at us for needing to go in the station to the toilet. She even threatened to leave without us. At the airport, the bus driver didn’t make sure that all baggage is safe. Someone took out other bags to reach their own, and didn’t put them back in. If it wasn’t for us chasing the bus, someone would have lost their luggage.
It's not like you have many alternative choices, but when possible avoid .. drivers are making a real effort to be aggressive and rude. If there where more companies doing the routes, it might have been a different story. I used a lot of busses in northern Spain and this is the only negative experience
