The ladies there in the office and the girl that delivered did an excellent job in smoothing over an discrepancy i had with my sales guy. He changed the agreed on price once I arrived and called me a liar on the phone when I called him. Told me jut to leave it where it sat. Well, i had driven 6.5 hours and had to make a pickup so after talking with the lady at the counter she got the price back to what I had originally agreed to with Garrett. Bad experience smoothed over by Southern Trailer Depot Office lady, sorry I forget your name but thank you for a pleasant outcome! The delivery lady was excellent also. Thank her too!!
I don't make it a habit of leaving reviews online for equipment purchases but I feel that Southern Trailer Depot and Rock Solid Cargo deserve some kudo's for a seamless purchase , build, delivery and warranty period for my 2020 7 x16 Rock Solid Haul Star cargo trailer as its now 1 yr. old and it has been flawless in its performance. I researched enclosed trailers online for a month or two and went and looked at two or three manufacturers in Miami where I'm located and was not impressed with the fit and finish for the $$$ asked. I decided on Rock Solid for their Haul Star customized series and ordered from Garrett McBride over the phone. Garrett provided me with numerous quotes for different configurations / options and even drove the the built but waiting for delivery -pick up trailer storage holding lot to personally take photos of a similarly equipped trailer. Customer service gets 5 stars from start to finish this outfit! From ordering to trailer pick up to completing the paperwork in the office and inspections for the delivered trailer when I took delivery in Douglas GA. and departed for Miami after shaking Garretts hand. I've now put over four thousand trouble free miles from Miami to Maine and back and couldn't be happier with Rock Solid and Southern Trailer Depot.
I researched many Manufacturers and Dealers for my 7X14 TA, decided on Rock Solid for the best value for my $$. Being from Ohio, I was somewhat apprehensive on spending the money I did for a sight unseen purchase and making the 1600 mile round trip.I then made a spread sheet for each dealer with the same base trailer and options I wanted. Southern Trailer Depot was the least expensive. I then called for a quoted and spoke with Ennis Hester. I have to say, this man took the time to deliver exactly what I wanted. I had many custom options and Ennis helped explained all the pros and cons. I understood production times were extended because of Covid, but my trailer was ready in 8 weeks from time of order. I was even able to pick it up a day early than delivery date thanks to Jennifer at Rock Solid. I inspected the trail at Rock Solid, no major issues and started my 800 mile trip home. When I returned home I further inspected the entire trailer. Quality & Detail was very good. As anal as I am, I did notice a few issues that I corrected or I can live with, nothing major. Now to make it mine with further interior customizations. Also, I received another $100 for mentioning the Black Friday incentive from their Facebook site. Being in Sales all my life I know what it takes to keep my customers satisfied, Southern Trailer Depot and Ennis Hester were a blessing to do business with. Thanks again!!
I would like to thank Southern Trailer Depot for the excellent customer service and help in the construction of my 2021 Rock Solid trailer. This was a total custom order and everything from start to finish was an awesome experience. I had a few minor issues upon picking up the trailer and all of the staff at Rock Solid quickly made the minor changes for me. From my Salesman Garrett McBride to all of the staff at Rock Sold, I couldn't thank them more enough. Next Trailer will again be from Southern Trailer Depot and the staff at Rock Solid.
