Tried calling their 24/7 phone number but can't get through. It just repeats the same thing over and over "we will connect you shortly" then hangs up.How does someone get through to these people. Now I'm afraid I don't have a hotel reservation even though I have a Booking ID that was confirmed.
Avoid !!! Offer great prices on the website , that draw you in. Book flights and then be told that the hotel is no longer accepting bookings , even though it is on their own website and numerous others . I believe that the price was loaded in error and that its just easier to say that the hotel has stopped taking bookings .When challenged get copy and paste emails that dont really help. I need to remember if something looks too good to be true it probably is .Luckily i had a back up and a few months to sort or i could have been in a right mess.
This is an update to my previous review about More Rooms’ misleading booking practices. After posting my initial review, they publicly responded on Trustpilot asking me to get in touch so they could “look into it further.” I followed up by email, hoping they might finally take the issue seriously, but unsurprisingly, their response was just more of the same scripted excuses and zero accountability. They also offered nothing new, no compensation, no fair alternative, not even a list of current rates to show willingness to help. It was just a copy and paste version of everything they'd already said. It’s now very clear that their public reply was just damage control, not a real attempt to resolve anything. They had no intention of helping, and continued to dismiss legitimate concerns by hiding behind vague statements about availability and policy.Avoid More Rooms at all costs. Their booking process is misleading, their customer service is unhelpful, and their promises of resolution are hollow. This company cannot be trusted to honour bookings or treat customers fairly. Again I recommend you book directly with the hotel or use a reputable platform.
Booked a hotel room in York for a weekend this month only to be told an hour later that the booking has been cancelled (have taken my money which they say I might not get back for 5 days) they say no rooms available, I have just been on Trivago, Kayak and Booking.com who have all got rooms available.
I am now going on 3 weeks waiting for Morerooms to refund me in the amount of $854.49. They provided me an incorrect price for a hotel stay, so the hotel was kind enough to cancel the reservation with no fees. The hotel confirmed with me that they refunded Morerooms for my stay even though it was Morerooms error, not theirs. I even copied the hotel manager on my correspondence. Morerooms has continued refuse my refund. So Morerooms took my money and also took the hotel refund, and I am out $854. DO NOT USE MOREROOMS. It is a scam!Update 7/17/25:On July 15,2025, I finally received a full refund from Morerooms for a reservation that had been canceled and refunded in full by the hotel the very night I arrived, 30 days prior. To get this refund, I had to send 20+emails and make numerous calls to Morerooms. It was only after Morerooms employee, Theo, saw the 2nd review on Trustpilot that the refund was issued, despite proof that the hotel had issued a full refund to Morerooms. I truly believe they were hoping I would just give up and let them keep the $854 they owed me.After they finally issued the refund, they contacted me 6 times asking me to update my review on Trustpilot. Their refusal to help me during my actual vacation caused a great deal of chaos and put a bad spin on my time in Chicago. I had to find a different hotel and funds were very limited due to money being held by Morerooms for the first hotel that was canceled. This entire ordeal could have been avoided if Morerooms had provided me with true pricing information on the hotels they offer their customers. It does not appear thay they update information when hotels change hands and the price discrepancy between what Morerooms promised and what the hotel actually charges was significant. So, to sum up--credit where it is due: Theo at Morerooms worked to get me the refund I was due. However, for a month, all I got from Morerooms were canned responses "deeply regretting" my experience but no real help was given. I will never use Morerooms again and would never recommend it to my friends.
Booked a room for a stay in Leeds 20 mins later had an email saying my choice was sold out and given opportunity to pay £20 or so for a different room and I accepted 20 mins later had another email saying that this room was sold out and I could pay £33 extra for a different room I’m sure if you’re skint and need the cheapest room this might be the right company for you If you’re like me and want a deal without all the hassle this company needs to be steered clear of In the end got a call saying they would do the rate they first offered More of a hotel auction than a hotel deal website Stick with booking.com might be a few pounds more but easy and a lot less hassle
