Review Time
I ordered a new clock spring for a VW golf from this company and I was pleased to receive it quickly; and it was well packaged to avoid damage. The issue arose when I took it to my local VW specialist to have it fitted, as they were unable to do it as it was not the correct one. After having to pay for a fitting they had to revert due to the issue I contacted Motors in Motion. One 'gentleman' called me a liar which infuriated me. I contacted them again and complained to Adam about the gentleman AND the issue. He again did not believe me and we entered into quite a heated discussion about why it was the wrong bit. I sent him the garage report and explained that the letter at the end dictates the functionality possible with the clock spring, and I needed one with a different letter to the one received. On explaining that it affected my DSG gearbox he FINALLY held his hands up and admitted that it came from a manual car, so they may not actually be the same. I agreed to dispose of the part for a refund, but that left my out of pocket expenses where I had paid for a clock spring to be fitted that couldn't be fitted. We agreed that he would send me two replacement rear interior door panels for my car to cover what I had lost, but after many many months and several ignored phone calls I have never been able to actually sort this out, and I remain OUT OF POCKET. My advice... Steer Clear!! What a rude, ignorant organisation. If there is an issue they will fob you off, or ignore you. Don't touch them with a barge-pole as it isn't worth the hassle if anything goes wrong.

quoted me online for some parts and then had phone conversation with additional parts added, but once the order was being placed they said they had quoted on older model but had the reg details posted on the online quote enquirey . the prices went up nearly double .was hoping to do repeat business as I am a motor trader but not when you cant get accurate pricing on what your buying .
Avoid This Company ---- If you do not want to go through the hassle, stress, waste of time and the filthy attitude I have gone through!!
I received their quote online through a comparison website, the guy that picked up the phone was definitely very helpful. They have charged me price like brand new parts but since I needed them, I placed an order and gave my credit card details (which they said never worked and it has worked 7/10 times a day on daily basis for over the years now).
I then sent this payment through bank transfer (business account) and should have cleared within a blink of an eye. I was promised that I am going to receive these parts on Friday, Nothing arrived. I was suspicious with the whole thing that I called them on Friday in order to check where the parts were, the guy on the phone was polite and okay to speak with and then I was promised that I am going to get them on Monday. Nothing on Monday again. Then on Tuesday and nothing on Tuesday again and I have received the parts today i.e. Wednesday.
The other pitfall of their service was that they have never mentioned my name on the packet/package or our business name and our business centre manager gone to each individual office (over a 100 offices to find out) whose box was it?
I was called then later this evening and the gentleman said they were hard to dispatch the door handle (which they charged me for) and they will refund my monies for this, pain!!! They should have told me this at the time of the parts were shipped - I had received another quote through that comparison website for half the price!!!! Not very impressed.
Pain, I would really hesitate to place an order with this company again, I have not checked the parts yet, I hope there are no more surprises there. Lets' See.
The business owner was abusive, arrogant, full of hate when I reminded him that under my statuary rights, they should accept the return of the goods which they dispatched. I had to call them several times, remind them about the payment and they were threatening, abusive, No professionalism as a business and business owner in general.
