I ordered a QRK gearbox for my Skoda Octavia (PX64 OEU) through PartsGateway. Motor In Motion confirmed they would supply that exact part, so I paid £1,495 (£1,395 cash + £100 transfer) as they said to help me as my budget was £1500 they offered to accept the cash. When I came to collect it, they instead gave me a PYS gearbox, claiming it was “100% the same.” I declined to take it but Adam refused to refund me back my cash pressured me to take it with me or they would not guarantee it safety. Adam hit me on my arm grabbed my documents and squeezed them inside his office bin threatened to move me out of his office with his men. I was devastated and emotionally hurt with worse customer service I had with them.After contacting Skoda UK, I was advised that PYS 0CW300046X gearbox code is not confirmed as compatible with my Skoda gearbox code QRK 0CW300047R due to internal and mechatronic differences. I asked for a refund immediately, but Motor In Motion refused to return my money and insisted I take the part.The gearbox is still unused, and Skoda UK confirmation that it is not fit for my vehicle when I spoke with them . I have reported the matter to Citizens Advice / Trading Standards and am taking formal action under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.Please check independent reviews before purchasing — my experience has been extremely disappointing and stressful. I hope authorities will review this company’s practices to protect other customers.
Do not buy use these Cowboy’s so called Breaker/Garage.They responded to me via Breakeryard for an engine for my wife’s Golf on speaking to Adam about the Engine and were the engine came from it was a low mileage that had 7k on it, the vehicle was rear ended which he sent me paper work to prove this with the mileage.Speaking to Adam he even said they do mechanical work and was told that they will replace the engine at an additional cost of £1000.What should have taken 5 days took 7 weeks I never had updates and was always having to chase them up. The car was eventually sent back on a trailer and on receiving the vehicle back we had misfiring and the engine Managment light came on two miles into driving the vehicle. the engine replaced was not the engine that I was sold as the engine was a lot older, also parts were taken of our vehicle which had only done 30k to be replaced with older scrap parts.Adam likes to talk the talk and tried to threaten me by saying I best be careful which proves the point when your in the wrong you retaliate.
If it was possible to leave a minus star review believe you me I would. STAY FAR FAR AWAY from this two bit cowboy company as they will offer to sell you the very best service but what you will actually receive is nothing but lies and BS. Adam who is the "God only knows in reality" who seems to think he is the God Father with his threatening attitude is laughable. His words.... "Do we know who we are talking too?" Can someone kindly please help identify this moron as he clearly doesn't seem to know who he is and is seeking clarification 🤡.I should have read the previous reviews that clearly warns not to entertain this circus of a company. I am now at the start of a legal claim against them with ample compiled evidence which is stack against them. Thank you Adam for informing me that you have detailed CCTV footage of the work that you carried out on my car as this will now be requested as evidence to confirm the lies that you tell so well. STAY WELL CLEAR PEOPLE, cowboy central at its finest.
Con artist, send faulty parts then you call up to tell them and there make every excuse, even had a specialist look at the part and there still didn't believe him.Got told to send part back and would get a full refund, then called up again and now saying we don't offer refunds.Avoid at all costs
Believe the reviews!!!! I wish I looked at these before I ordered from them!!!!Ordered a fuel injector which they did NOT inspect before sending out because had they did they would have known it was not suitable to be used! Yet this person who sold it to me said the piece of the fuel injector thats no good can simply be swapped with the one in my car thats broken and it would be easy to do yet when I told him no mechanic will do it as it's too difficult so I wish to return it, he got an attitude!! Like sir why would you send it if a part of it was no good??? It shouldn't have to be swapped, it should be sent in a good condition for the money I paid for it! Apparently because the people don't want to swap the part they're "bad mechanics" so what are YOU sir?? You're a bad business owner and need to be shut down. Your stinking attitude and unprofessionalism does not help your business!
Returned part for refund. They said never get it back and they blamed delivery company. Week later they found the part (after I started investigation) and I found out that it was never missing and wasn't delivery companies fault. Liars! And of course I didn't get full refund. Thanks for waisting my time and nervous. Avoid!
Worst experience. Parts were missing. When I called them for refund they talk rubbish. They dont even return the whole refund. They literally said the customer has to bear the return cost which i paid an additonal amount to return back to them.Donot use them. You will never get your full refund.
Do not trust theese clowns paid for a undertray and told it was in stock 10 days later and numerous phone calls it turns out they don’t have the part Why take someone’s money and string them along fur something you clearly did not have
