Reviewing my PayPal account on January 30, 2026 I found My IQ had charged me $24.99 three times, and .50 cents once. I've never heard of them or subscribed to anything, I did not know where those payments went, what for, or to whom. I contacted PayPal and told them I've never heard of My IQ and the charges to my account were all unauthorized. PayPal surprisingly wrote me back that they made a decision in the "seller's favor" and closed my case. I am appealing that decision. I wrote to My IQ and asked for a refund and I see there are two refunds on my PayPal account today. I wrote again and asked for a total refund, which has not happened. My IQ is definitely a SCAM. It's important to stop PayPal automatic payments. I won't trust PayPal to protect my interests again, and I've been with PayPal for many years. Getting a partial refund means I paid My IQ for nothing, they still have some of my money. I want a full refund. My error was not checking PayPal because I had stopped using it temporarily while my eBay business was paused. I will contact my bank next, it was all charged to my Mastercard account. I would have given a "0" star.
Disgusting behavior 🤮it’s a SCAM! They’ll first let you pay 1€ for the service and then hide the part that says that you’ll pay 29€ per month. Please, do NOT give any credit or visit these thieves. You’d need great guts to do something like this, but they still do.
Never got test results just buffers. Also hit with $29.99 charge I didn't allow or request. The $1.00 was one thing but the 29.99 was a rip off. I never authorized it and I'm on SS and count use my money back. I ok'd the $1.00 before I knew I'd never receive results but that's ok but I need my $29.99 back. Not sure on what date but close.
Horrible. I agreed to pay the 1 dollar for the one time test results nothing more. Furthermore they somehow obtained my banking info because that's how they took the money out of my account. I never gave them my Account information and I paid the one dollar with my debit card which was locked when they took the 29.99 from my account. I'm really upset and feel like I was scammed. I have requested the money back 3 times. And still haven't heard back from any of the emails I have sent them. I never used any other service from their App and immediatly cancelled it when they took it. Still nothing. Don't take their test. Don't download their app.
Not only did the service charge me for something I didn't agree to, but they also falsely claimed it was refunded when it wasn't. I've sent over 130 emails back and forth, repeatedly asking for the same information, yet they keep ignoring my questions about why I was misled! I've asked multiple times to speak with someone who can actually assist me, only to be disregarded. To make matters worse, they attempted to charge me another $30 this evening! I will continue to post updates every 24 hours until this issue is resolved!
I encountered the same issue as many others - initially charged $1 for a test, but then a $24.99 charge unexpectedly showed up on my credit card. I had some email communication where they seemed willing to assist, but then I heard nothing further. I will be contacting my credit card company to dispute the charges.
I was informed that I could cancel by the 8th to avoid charges, yet they debited my account on the 7th. Despite canceling the plan, they are unwilling to refund my money. I have emails confirming the start date as the 8th, but they still charged me a day earlier. This feels like a scam and is incredibly frustrating!
This is a complete rip-off! They deceive you into believing you can take a free IQ test via social media, only to begin charging £29.99 PER MONTH from your account without consent. I've been in disputes with the support team, and they are reluctant to issue a refund. USE YOUR CONSUMER RIGHTS AND LEGAL FRAMEWORK TO CHALLENGE THEM. REPORT THEM ON SOCIAL MEDIA. ALERT YOUR BANK!!!
BEWARE myIQ.com is a scam. I signed up for the $0.99 trial and canceled during the trial period week, yet my credit card was charged $24.99 regardless. I have the timestamped screenshots as proof since myIQ.com sneaky scam practice does not email any canceled subscription confirmation.The very next day they also charged my card. Canceling did not prevent billing. This is a deceptive business designed to trap users into unwanted charges. Avoid this service and closely monitor your credit card if you signed up. Don't get screwed over !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The terms and conditions are not clearly disclosed, hidden below the fold. This is undoubtedly a scam, and this site should be taken down.
