Just signed up with the guy that came knocking. Sounded good. Said I'd take a delivery per week as thought I'd be supporting local. Oh no. So 1.75L milk 3 euro plus euro delivery.Tried to cancel my account online but you can't, you have to phone them. That's actually illegal, you can't sign people up to online accounts and give them no way to cancel immediately and on their own terms. And guess what, no one answers the phones there. Avoid unless you're well off
We originally signed up to this back in 2023.On several occasions we noticed the products weren't chilled when collecting them from the door and as a result, the milk was turning quickly. The reason for this was later made clear when I returned home past 2am one night and discovered our milk delivery, for the next morning sitting on the doorstep This was during the summer months which meant dairy products were being left there for 5-6 hours not chilled until we collected them. This defeats the purpose of fresh milk delivery and although we reported it, we never received any apology or explanation.We also noticed that stock didn't seem to be rotated very well. We received Tuesday and Friday deliveries and the products delivered on a Friday we're often older/had a closer expiry date that those delivered earlier in the week. Like others, our experience cancelling the service was an awkward one and we received a snotty email from the delivery guy demanding the plastic box/ milk cover back...which we paid for. Odd.
Very similar experience to a lot of the other reviews. On two bank holiday weekends we had missing deliveries but were still being charged for the full amount, when queried with the milkman they said they were left the Friday before. We gave benefit of the doubt the first time but second time decided to cancel, which they make quite awkward by having to ring them. Now we have just noticed they are trying to bill again despite our account being confirmed as cancelled two weeks ago.Really not good, we decided to cancel as is more hassle making sure we are being billed correctly and seems impossible to get refunded.
DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS! Unfortunately I did 3 weeks ago and never received my order, got charged, not refunded after 3 phonecalls and a promise that Alex would call me back and deal with the refund. Another invoice sent although I've paused the account. Still waiting on my refund and account closure. Absolutely disgraceful 😤 I seriously cannot afford to pay for Absolutely nothing. 😢
AVOID AVOID AVOID. Alot of people in our estate signed up for this a couple of weeks ago. Some poor unfortunates give over their bank details at the time. Little or no deliveries. They were still charged. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BANK DETAILS TO THESE RIP OFF MERCHANTS!!
I subbed to the service there would be an ease of use of using the service.. but realized it wont be required for the consumption i have I even sent a nice courteous email to request a cancellation and the response i actually got from the company was "Time Waster" .. what an appalling service provider who has 0 respect for the customer
