I love the service I also never see him/her but that’s not really a problem for me. the order is always correct and it always comes on time but I understand that some People have had different experiences and not necessarily good ones. I like it
All ok with deliveries. There was one mistake where I was charged for a delivery on the day when there was no deliveries (bank holiday weekend).The problem is with their customer service. I was waiting for over a month to get refund. I wanted to close my account after 4-5 months with them due to lactose intolerance, and after over a month of trying to contact with them - still no success. No one will call you back when you set-up a callback in the app. Account still not closed.
I signed up to this service partly for nostalgic reasons partly due to face to face pressure sales at my door. I had problems from the start and I complained to the company and my milkman directly. The issues included wrong product delivered, missed deliveries, and poor timing of deliveries either too early of too late to be functional. The most problematic issue I have is that I have been unable to cancel this service despite following the correct procedure and speaking directly with the complaints department. DO NOT SIGN UP!!!! As you will struggle to get out as I am.
We have used the service for years and a number of changes of milk delivery owners - but the current one in Ashbourne is an absolute disaster. Even after raising the complaint, it improved slightly but back to normal service - milk nearly two days late or never arrives at all. Previous Milk Round Owners were excellent but I have to advise against people in Ashbourne using the service.
I’m sorry to see so many shocking reviews. The service clearly depends on the local milkman. I’m delighted with the service provided by David Duffy. My milk (and eggs and butter if I’ve ordered them on a once off basis) are on my doorstep when I come down in the morning. The cover is always put over them. I did, however, have an odd experience with a doorstep salesman a couple of years ago. He seemed to hardly know that I had a milkman and to be confused about how many milkmen were working on our road. He insisted that one of my neighbours had a different milkman. I know they have the same milkman I have.
Disappointing to read of the poor customer experience some people have and are experiencing, service must be dependant on milkman as our service is excellent, Mark is totally dependable, reliable and friendly.No complaint whatsoever, only compliments.Mary n Will
The service itself (while a bit clunky making changes to your order online) is fine, and I can't fault the milkman himself. But I continued to get sales people calling to my door asking me to sign up when I already was a member. Ringing my doorbell and walking away to ring all the neighbours doors so when I'd open the door he'd be shouting across the street to me. Irritating while working from home.Also, cancelling your account online forces you to call a phone number. This is bad for customers. Allow people to cancel online.Cancelled and not sure I'll sign up again.
The worst experience ever, I've been getting a bill and money taken from my account for 2 week, I spent a half and hour on hold to speak to someone that cancelled my account and then the money still came out, I emailed back to the person that sent me that statement and all I've gotten back is abuse, my last email to him was to ask how I make a complaint and his reply was f#ck you.......... I would never go with this company they were charging me with milk I was never getting.....
