Worst place I have ever stayed

Worst place I have ever stayed! The whole building in birmingham is filthy! the inside is just the same. mouldy wall in the bathroom dirt on all the skirting board, ripped lampshades, graffiti in the hallways, manky carpets, luke warm water, broken drawers. other peoples dirty handprints all over the doors ..... had to leave after one night, no refund.... I was told 'cleanliness is subjective' apparently.... I would hate to see the person's house who wrote that!!!! Avoid at all costs - this company are scammers, images of the properties do not match the reality!

Unsafe property, rude staff AVOID!!

Rude, ignorant, corrupt. Avoid at all costs! Happy to take your money but when you scratch beneath the surface you find dodgy wiring, sub-standard quality decor and appalling customer service. I experienced an electrical explosion in my holiday rental and no one cared, ever responded or offered any kind of apology. No refund or even partial refund but instead a charge of £100 for damage to the property! The Doncaster host refused to answer her phone and even cut me off. Head office never answer. This company needs to be taken to court. Avoid avoid avoid!!

I had seriois problems actually still have but nobody responds emails or cares your request... It is not refundable they take money and ignoring what I want..The room is exposed to significant outside noise (including announcements from Lime Street Station) and light enters through the old and damaged blinds, so the room remains bright throughout the night.I am very disappointed with these situations... And I can add so many things here like uncortable bed, dirty sofa,...

Dirty property, no laundry, poor resolution of issues

Booked a 3 bedroom property in South Shields which had sofa bed to accomodate 6 of us with prior communicationtgat we needed beding for sofabed. Arrived Thursday. The place was dirty with litter all over drive. The TV would not work but most importantly 1 bedroom not accessible and no laundry for sofa bed. Called and e mailed mypropertyhist company immediately. 2 of us had to sleep on sofa bed fully clothed. Eventually somebody turned up on Friday late afternoon - couldn't access 3rd bedroom either so with her there i had to shoulder the door to force open. The rep could not get tv to work either and claimed the place was recently cleaned which it was obviously not without any clean bedding for sofabed. She said she would come back to fix TV - she never came back and we left the house a day early. I since have e mailed the company for a partial refund 3 times without any response so had to resort to this in hope it provides action.

Agree, absolute scammers

I used 'my property host' to book a apartment in the Newspaper Building in Blackburn, I'm on business there during the week and had stayed for 4 weeks previously, the building is shabby, lift doesn't work, I was told the fire alarm wasn't working prooerly so they have 2 men at the front door doing fire watch, the place is just barely acceptable, I stayed in the basement rooms but smelt of damp, I ignored all this because it was a convenient location, it was booked through Booking.com so thought it would be a safe bet, wrong assumption, there are signs in the flat and emailed to you saying if you don't empty your rubbish at the end if your stay in the correct bin you will be fined £200 and it's on cctv, when I went to empty the bin it was just a chaotic pile of black bin bags in the car park, every bin was the same colour and overflowing, the main problem and the reason for reviewing them is I checked into the apartment, bear in mind the furniture is all mega cheap flat pack stuff, I sat in the bed and the bottom slats fell through, tried to fix it but most of the slats were already broken from before on both sides of the bed, went to sleep and it collapsed again, I reported it to the agent girl that meets you and she apologised and said she'd fix it, didn't happen, offered another apartment but didn't want to pack and repack for one more night, slept in it again and it collapsed again, so slept in the sofa, 2 days later I received an email charging me £240 for damage to the bed! I thought they were joking, but no, tried emailing phoning, they don't reply, asked for the area manager to reply 4 times, no reply, when I went this week the agent that met me said he cleans the rooms and all the beds are broken in most of the apartments they rent out there, really thin slats and the bed is bizarrely only 12 inches high off the floor, probably cheaper option, they charged my card fraudulently and without my permission, I am now dealing with booking.com and my card company to get the money back, please take this advice, they are not interested in letting the apartments they are interested in falsely charging people money for so called damage, there is a similar review on here from a guy that got charged £300 for a scratch on a kitchen cupboard, I'm guessing the letting agency get commission on this or similar, I was going to be booking for a year and they didn't care about me so they won't give 2 hoots about a 1 or 2 night stay, I'm a business guy and don't damage anything I'm there to work, I won't be scammed by people like this and I will get my money back, they are on booking.com listed as central Blackburn 1 bed apartment 'spacious or smart or fantastic' what a joke, they are all in the same place, they have about 20 apartments in the same Building called the Newspaper Bullding near the station, I hope this review saves you the scam and hassles I have had, that's what Trustpilot is for, avoid at all costs.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY...rented a house in Swindon that looked fantastic for 3 nights...when I got there with my grandchildren after a 5 hour journey I wanted to cry...it was the most disgusting filthy insects and germ ridden house I had ever seen, I could let the kids through the door. Months of stinking rubbish piles up at the front door , sick and urine in front room with huge holes in the wall where someone had punched it, ceiling brown stains and a hole, fridge mouldy , furniture broken unusable, understands cupboard filled with rubbish paint cans and stripper with other toxic chemicals and no lock or handle on door, used ear buds on floor in kitchen, dirty rusty microwave and cupboard fronts missing...bathroom filthy with yellow and black mould around bath,dried urine all over toilet , toothpaste splatters up walls, bath panel rotten and fallen off, dead insects and l9ads of cobwebs under broken beds with bodily fluids on walls and mattress...and 2 squirrels living in the rotten furniture and rubbish down side of house.tv not working or the WiFi. I had to check into a hotel..im 66 and never in my life seen anything like this,it took me a month to get my money back trying to be polite and all they did was lie to me...dont use the company through bookings.com..they made me pay £60 to get the code for key box saying it was in case of damage to the property😂...I just wish I could upload the photos...it was worse than a squat, 31 emerson close Swindon
