We arrived at the property at 3.30pm on the Friday - which had not been cleaned and was uninhabitable.No clean beds, no clean towels, crumbs and food on the floor, rubbish bags in the yard – this list goes on.We called the My Property Host agent who said it would be sorted ASAP – we left our cases and popped out for a while. We returned at 6.30pm and the cleaning had still not been done. After another lengthy conversation with the My Property Host agent, they said, as it was a Bank Holiday weekend, they could not guarantee that the property would be cleaned that day.Under the circumstances – as we couldn’t wash there and had no guarantee that we could sleep there - we had to arrange alternative accommodation for the Friday evening.Upon arrival back to the property on the Saturday a basic clean had been carried out but not all issues had been resolved - the level of the cleaning was just enough to allow us to stay on the evening of the 24th.We took this up firstly with Booking.com, explained to them that we required, at the very least. half the accommodation cost refunding plus full reimbursement of the alternative accommodation - an insulting offer was made from My Property Host of £125 – which we rejected, of course.The next stage was to speak direct to My Property Host – which, to date, I have done twice, along with an emailing them.It is now two weeks down the line and no one has got back to us yet – I guess we’re being ignored.This is just not good enough – both the state of the accommodation and the handling of our complaint.
Scammers. We booked our stay beginning of April and up until the day before our stay they were responding to messages re our stay. What they failed to mention is that the hotel, the apartment is in, has gone to administrators 5th of May so our booking was cancelled. When we arrived to check-in (they had the cheek to confirm the day before!!), we (and many more scammed clients of theirs) were greeted by building security and court letters all over the entrance door. All communication obviously suddenly ceased and they simply gone unresponsive. Shameful scammers. On a positive note, we contacted Airbnb and they were quick to refund all the very same evening with a little bonus added for the inconvenience.My property host - shame on you
Disappointing experience. Our Airbnb booking under another property management company was cancelled and I was told the property had been taken over by my property host. I was assured that I could rebook with them and I wouldn't lose my booking. However, my property host insisted that they weren't managing the property either, and so I spent the morning going between the two trying to find a resolution. Eventually I had to book elsewhere as I wasn't getting anywhere with either party and our trip is next week. Not sure which one of the companies is truly at fault but I shouldn't have had to chase this up myself, there should have been better communication between the two. A little ridiculous, honestly.
We a landlord and have used MPH to manage our property for 12 months, it was not a happy ending. We had a lot of missing and broken items that they promised to replace but they did not, the bills went sky rocket high and we've noticed the radiator had been left on for days. They have not returned with us with all the key fobs. The management was not responsive, I have made complaint previously but things have not been followed through. To even to speak to the right person I have to per-arranged time for the meeting and she failed to stick with the scheduled time. We have end the contract now but still dealing with all these issues.
Absolute scammers! Avoid this company at all cost! I was silly to not read the reviews on booking.com before booking! Do not leave a security deposit they will not give it back to you!! They accused us over a week later that we had damaged a door during our stay and they need to replace it and said they would be charging our card an additional £326 without our consent. No evidence of the damage door was provided so I asked for photos. Approx 4 days later I received photos of a kitchen unit which had scratches on the surface and advised that these damages were not there before we arrived so the charges still stand! Absolutely shocking!!! Some funny looking door I tell you that!!! I had assured them the property was left how it was when we arrived. We also have video evidence of this as have to be careful as we stay out a lot due to work and come across these type of people on occasions. They have refused to give our security deposit back and I have had to report them for fraud! Please be careful…they are also on other platforms like air Bnb. Disgusting behavior and have seen from reviews they have done this many times before! Avoid at all costs!!!
I had a fantastic stay—everything was smooth, comfortable, and perfectly managed thanks to Miele. She was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive throughout. The room was spotless and well-prepared, and communication was effortless from start to finish. Miele went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. Highly recommend staying here—five stars without a doubt!
Overall, I had a great experience with this company. Initially, my first impression was not good. My host did not arrive on time and I was outside. The representative Kieran took me into my apartment in Digbeth and was very apologetic that the agent did not arrive, showed me a tour of the room and informed me about local eateries and pubs nearby. My room was spacious, modern and super clean. Contact with the rep was consistent during my stay. The checkout was explained and easy to follow. I'll be back if available.
