This service keeps charging me $25 a week, even after I attempted to cancel my subscription. The trial period was very short, and I didn't even get to see the results before being charged fully. I canceled through the app, but they continued to withdraw from my account. I reached out to their support, but they still charged me again. This feels like theft!
This app and the company are the worst! Complete scammers. DO NOT EVEN OPEN THIS APP. THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY, CHARGE YOUR CARD, AND YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO CANCEL A SUBSCRIPTION YOU NEVER AGREED TO. BE CAUTIOUS AND DO NOT EXPECT RESPONSES TO EMAILS REQUESTING REFUNDS OR CANCELLATIONS.
I've seen many complaints, so I want to share my experience for fairness. Everything worked as described on the checkout page for me. I paid $5 for the trial, got the report quickly, and my bank statement matched the agreed amount. The report was well-organized — not overly technical but engaging. I also contacted support once, and they responded politely and promptly. I understand experiences vary, but mine was completely straightforward.
Scammers!!! Stay away from them.. after subscribing in a one week trial in 5USD they overcharged me in 29 USD without my permission and refused to refund me!!! On the top of that, their customer service is really rude and speaks to customers in a bad way!!!
COMPLETE scam. I found this ad on Facebook and thought I'd give it a try but the whole thing is a deceptive scheme by Mytraits.Ai (Devroq Apps LLC). My first red flag was the purchase failing even when I had funds for their Ethnicity Pro Feature. I only signed up for their $5 Weekly Plan Trial, which was the only amount documented in my receipt, yet they hit me with massive, unauthorized charges of $28.99 and $24.99 on top of that, making the total disputed amount over $58. The company is lying and being completely dishonest when they claim those higher amounts are in the agreements; my confirmed receipt showed only $5.00 was agreed upon. I demanded a refund, and while they confirmed receipt of the $28.99 refund request over a week ago, they have failed to process it and are ignoring my other disputes. The actual product, like the Ethnicity Pro Feature, is a shallow, stereotypical waste of time—I was better off purchasing a 23&Me kit. I have now filed a fraud dispute with my bank for all charges, blocked them from taking more money, and formally canceled my subscription. They are a sneaky scheme that reads your face and scams your wallet. AVOID MYTRAITS.AI AT ALL COSTS.
