Greated warmly and seated at Beckton by Tania. Served quickly and correctly by Alexander who was also friendly. The food was hot and tasty and we were not rushed away. A lovely dining experience thank you all!
I’m very disappointed with the service. After returning from a trip, I was tired and hungry, so I placed an order for delivery. About thirty minutes later, I realized my phone had no network connection. Once I fixed that, I checked the app, which indicated that my food was on its way. I went downstairs to check, but no one arrived. My doorbell was functioning perfectly, so the driver should have rung it.
I contacted customer support, and the representative informed me that the delivery driver had attempted to reach me but couldn’t, so he left the food by the door. However, I found nothing when I checked. She recommended that I submit a claim through the customer assistance portal, which I did immediately.
A week later, I received a response stating that nothing could be done, and there would be no refund. They claimed that the driver had adhered to all proper protocols.
This reflects very poor customer service and indicates a significant failure in the delivery process.
I placed an order and they mistakenly left out a portion of chips. This isn't typically a big deal, but it was the main side for some chicken thighs and corn on the cob. I contacted customer service, and they simply said they couldn't send someone to deliver it. Instead, they offered a refund. While I appreciate the refund, I ordered a meal, and now I'm left with just chicken, corn, and nothing else. It wouldn't have been difficult to reach out to the restaurant and arrange for the missing item to be delivered.
The service has been incredibly unhelpful, with a lack of understanding and professionalism. I have attempted to reach out multiple times, but getting a response has been challenging. It’s surprising how someone in a leadership position can be so unapproachable. There seems to be a significant gap in customer complaint management. My previous attempts to voice concerns were redirected with no resolution. It feels as if I am left to navigate this alone, which is disappointing for such a large organization.
We visited the restaurant today and received exceptional service. Our son has multiple food allergies, and upon informing the staff about his nut allergy, they promptly removed any nuts from the premises and washed their hands before giving us the menus. He is usually anxious about dining out, but this made him feel comfortable, and it’s refreshing to see someone take his allergies seriously! Thank you so much; we will certainly return to this restaurant.
I had a very disappointing experience at the restaurant recently. My vegetarian order arrived missing slaw dressing, and when I requested a correction, it came back cold with barely any dressing. Then, when they remade the meal, it shockingly contained chicken, despite my clear vegetarian request. This was unacceptable due to my dietary restrictions. Although the manager apologized, the situation was poorly handled. I requested a refund and even offered to pay for the correct items, but the manager insisted on a full refund, which would take 10 working days. This was incredibly frustrating, especially given the circumstances. Overall, this was a distressing experience, and I expected much better standards.
I ordered online for delivery and waited an hour without receiving my food. The driver claimed he delivered it, but that wasn't the case. When I contacted customer service for a replacement, they refused, stating the driver’s claim. I asked for proof of delivery, but they couldn’t provide any. They also declined to reimburse me, leaving me without food or a refund. This is unacceptable, especially as a pregnant woman with children. I feel robbed, and I will stick to other delivery services in the future.
