Sorry for my previous comments regarding Napthens which were unfounded. It transpires that they were working very hard on this in the background against matters that were beyond their control. The conveyance has taken place within the the timescales that they originally estimated and all is well. Every credit to the team. And no, not under pressure to say this. Would not hesitate to use this team having heard what they went through. Every credit!
I would like to thank Mr Lomax and his team at Napthens for their excellent work, professionalism, transparency and understanding. He recently helped us in the purchase of a medical centre to convert to a hospital. The building was owned by a big organisation with a complex hierarchy system which made the task challenging to complete. However, his expertise in dealing with such cases made us feel we were in good hands. He did thorough searches on the building and dealt swiftly with all “unexpected” issues which appeared during the process. He insisted to solve all “historical” problems with the building to protect us from any future challenges. It was impressive to deal with all these issues within the time scale he set for us during our initial meeting with him. If we chose a single highlight from our experience with Mr Lomax it would be his communication with his clients. He kept us informed with every step during the process. We got an email or a phone call every week with a regular update. Also, all fees have been explained in detail from the start and through the whole process, there was no “hidden” cost. I would highly recommend Mr Lomax and Napthens and would definitely use them again in the future. John, many many thanks again for everything, “you were brilliant”
I have had the pleasure of using Napthens Solicitors for both the purchasing my new property and for the sale of my existing one, a year later. Initially it was on my estate agent's recommendation, but for my own sale I was so delighted with the ease that everything had happened I continued to use them and have since recommended them to friends and colleagues :) The lovely Kate Mercer was my liaison and I cannot commend her enough on her professionalism and excellent communication skills. I received all documents in a timely manner and was kept up-to-date for any eventuality prior to it happening.Kate is friendly, has a good sense of humour (much needed in this process) and is very approachable. She always made time for me, or got back to me promptly, and I felt able to ask any questions; regardless of how naive I may have sounded in the buying process (as it's been a while!) Nothing was too much trouble I felt!Anything sent out to me for signing, or outstanding queries to answer, were always well marked as to which parts to complete. Communication via telephone or email was always fast and easy. There were helpful check lists, to support each stage; that were a Godsend to keeping me right. Additionally when dealing with staff, in the office, they too were always helpful at passing on messages or answering concerns.I have been very appreciative at the ease with which my sale has gone through. It has been a quick and smooth process from start to finish. I would thoroughly recommend Napthens from both sides of my transactions (buying and selling) and will definitely consider using them again in the future. I wish them continued success in their business dealings; as it has been an absolutely pleasurable experience.
