I am so very thankful for Jenny! Due to a health issue, I had to cancel my tickets almost immediately after having bought them. I did have the ticket protection option as I'm always hesitant to commit without some sort of insurance. I purchased the tickets, thinking that I would lose $20 per ticket if I'd had to cancel. I was informed that the ticket protection would provide a voucher for rebooking the tickets. That was not my understanding at all and I was devastated to lose the price of two tickets. Jenny put in a refund request and it seems that my card will be reimbursed minus the $40. I am very relieved as I was devastated over the health issue,not to mention having to miss the show ... and the price of the tickets. Thanks to Jenny!
Booking tickets from abroad, the website said error and payment not accepted - however it now appears five purchases had been accepted… none of which yielded tickets, none of which have been released or returned. 48hrs later and have still yet to receive an email or call… unacceptable!I have since received an email, explaining that a ‘technical’ error took five payments for which they apologise - however i am now in NY with a hold on my credit card of that amount for the entire visit… not exactly a satisfactory solution!
I went to this show with some friends. It was our first time at a play in New York. It wasn't the most action-packed plot line, but it still captivated my attention with the solid performances across the board and the storyline, which is highly relevant to our current election.
First off, very sorry to do this review so late, a month late. When booking for the show, I clicked on the wrong date. I got on the chat right away and tried to change the day, but the robot behind the screen kept saying No. I was so desperate that I kicked my computer and suddenly ALEX came on chat. He was my hero, he helped me cancel the wrong ticket and booked the right one. Today I’m in NY and I’ll enjoy Cabaret thanks to Alex. Chi
NYTG does not release barcodes At The theater I had to go to the box office where they were able to print a paper ticket with a readable scannable barcode so that I could gain entrance. The attendant at the box office said it was her experience that New York theater guide does not release barcodes also it was aggravating to wait until the day before the performance to find this out. Also, my bank alerted me after I made the purchase through New York theater guide of a foreign transaction on my credit card for this purchase
Couldn't have been more satisfied. I was always annoyed with not talking to someone over the phone about whatever issues I might have but the chat box process with Mollie was efficient and smooth flowing. My inconvenience was taken care of. I'm now oncourse to rebook for the show in question. Thanks again.
While the company purchased the tickets, yhe company never provided the tickets. They were purchased, but never emailed nor made available on the website. After 1.5h and two calls to the theatre and telecharge, we were able to access our tickets. Will never use this company again.
