I was transfered to ST GEORGE'S TOOTING LONDON because I HAD cancer (huge) in my mouth in July the operation was on the 28th of November a big chunk of my lip was removed and my nose was cut each side to reconstruct my lip wow now all the swelling has gone down and the stitches around my nose are taken out it doesn't look like I've had surgery, from the the nurses to the surgeon were fantastic so caring totally beautiful caring people all the that looked after me please treat them with the high praise and respect they deserve considering they had to join my lip up they done a superb job I'm a 68yr old pensioner who can't thank the surgeon who looked after me
If I could give Harrow Health zero stars, I would. I had an appointment scheduled for this morning at 9:30am via video link. The clinic's normal practice is to send a link shortly before the appointment begins. I understand that clinicians sometimes run late. However, almost 20 minutes later, no-one had sent the link or bothered to call. I sent an email at 9:48am. No response. I then tried calling. Having been on hold for 20 minutes, I gave up. As I write this, it is now 10:30am and no-one has contacted me. To simply not show up to an appointment, with no explanation and no phone call or e-mail, is appalling. I am surprised that an organisation comprised of doctors and other clinical staff would exhibit such an inordinate level of unprofessionalism.
Why can’t you just phone the drs and make an appointment? This new system is mad and what about old people who don’t use the internet????? Discrimination! Why do I now have to use a portal? I just hit delete. The same with the texts you bombard me with. I didn’t sign up for the barrage of texts. I want them to stop! There seems no way of stopping them. So, no longer can you see a dr at a time that suits you. I just don’t even bother trying anymore and delete all these texts you bombard me with and can’t stop! What’s the point in constantly texting me about blood pressure etc if you can’t see a dr? I don’t have a blood pressure machine. I want the texts to stop but can’t stop them. Now it’s a health check text and before our systems are changing. Had 3 texts in a week about that. I don’t want texts. It’s harassment.I don’t want texts. I don’t want to go online and hope that maybe I can see a dr. I don’t want to wait all day for a phone call. Some people have jobs. You used to be able to phone up and ask for an appt after work. Quite frankly that’s the last time I went to see my dr. I can’t be doing with all this online stuff and the receptionist deciding who can see a dr and who can’t. No wonder people call 999. That’s another thing. When there’s a long wait for ambulances. Why send 2 out to a dead person? The worlds gone mad!Maybe the idea behind it is to kill people off! This country is too overcrowded. That’s the issue! Less people. More appts. At least I’m bothering no one unlike you. Stop texting me!

My 2nd time in Hospital Castle Hill Hospital Cottingham East Yorkshire. This time Ward 27. Once again, I must let all know that the staff on this ward were and are hardworking dedicated staff. I have now recovered from Cancer and been treated for Cancer which has now been removed by the expertise of Mr Gooseman and his team and others who led the way to my operation, and I am truly grateful to all. I must mention a staff member in particular as Nurse Tilly (not sure of the name) who worked nights whilst I was on Ward 27. A caring capable young nurse who went out of her way to ensure I was looked after and made a point of checking and rechecking I had treatment I needed. Well Done and Thank you. A Credit to your profession. I owe my life to many at Castle Hill Hospital and will be forever grateful. If I may add that I am an 81 yr Veteran who served 24 yrs in the RAMC but did not reach the high standards of all your staff at CHH. Thank you.
