Nissan is running on an old reputation, from when they were really nissan. These new cars are designed to fail. I wont be giving them any more money. If you buy one second hand then be prepared for a huge bill on a 3 yr old car to get through mot.

Do not trust NISSAN they lie and are incompetent. Nissan have decided to discontinue the connect app and live traffic updates and other features on our env200 van that is less than 5 years old this is utter shocking and one of the reasons we upgraded our van to the tenka last year. The app hasn't been working and we have been working with customer services to fix the problem but without anything working & noticed today on there website they are ending support on all vans upto 2022 models so a 4 year old van now can't use a lot of the services that were sold with the van. Dirty money driven tactics. We will never buy another nissan group vehicle and I urge you too do the same well as this shows what they think of there customers
Absolutely terrible service. My Car broke down in Melbourne due to a crankshaft issue , was towed to essendon nissan it has sat there for 7 days & still waiting. Customer service and essendon nissan dont want to supply a hire car or help the situation. Nissan is a horrible company.
Simply don’t bother with Nissan Customer Services. Car went in for service, found an issue which is a known fault with Qashqais so Nissan covered the cost. Car was deemed undrivable by Nissan until the repair was done. Told the part was on “severe back order” meaning would be months probably until the part came and couldn’t get a courtesy car for 7 weeks. Raised with Customer Service whose underlying stance was “it’s not in our policy to help with a courtesy car when parts are delayed”. When asked what they expected me to do, the only response was “not really sure, sorry”. Useless!
Honest advice, never ever buy a Nissan Xtrail. I bought a Nissan Xtrail in 2021 and now in 2025 the automatic transmission failed. Took it to Nissan dealer and they quoted £10,000. Worst experience ever. If they can’t produce quality products they should stop producing at all.
Why do we always check the reviews after lol.Terrible experience, van is on lease brand new delivered in February broke down due to faulty water pump in September. Left without a van for one week, no merci, no care. Just said I refused a car, although I’m not insured to work out of a car so lost a whole weeks earnings of £1250. Cheers Nissan. Talk about insult to injury, they rang up at the end of the week to tell me the van should be fixed in a couple of days so we’re not going to bother getting you a courtesy vehicle. For context, they are supposed to supply one as it was under warranty and they are obliged to keep you mobile. They haven’t but just like all the big companies, they will get away with it. STAY CLEAR OF NISSAN!
Faulty clutch after 4k miles & 9 month old new car. It’s a Nissan Juke. Dealer saying misuse of car, no way they want £2700 to fix . Took up with Nissan CS who have done nothing in 3 weeks. Been without the car now for 6 weeks. Do not buy a Nissan stick to Ford, wish I’d got the Puma now !
