The constructor of my purportedly "green" new build acquired and installed these ventilation units. However, I encountered a malfunction in one of the units immediately after the 5-year mark – conveniently following the expiration of the warranty. The builder procured them in 2016 but installed them in 2018. The manufacturer asserted that the warranty commenced upon the builder's purchase rather than upon installation and usage. This discrepancy represents yet another exploitative element to be mindful of.Upon reaching out to the company, their indifferent response proposed a complete replacement, citing an unwillingness to supply new parts. Remarkably, the critical components, the fans, were not only defective but purportedly irreplaceable – a metaphorical unicorn in the realm of practicality. It epitomizes hypocrisy to affix an "environmentally friendly" label only to discard the unit within a mere six years. These companies flaunt their green credentials akin to peacocks, yet it's nothing more than a deceptive charade.Contrastingly, my aged boiler, a stalwart from the 1970s, dutifully served until 2010, with available parts attesting to its enduring functionality. When soliciting their assistance to evaluate the situation, their audacious suggestion was a company demanding an exorbitant £400 merely for the privilege of inspecting the unit. And this could not be scheduled for 3 weeks as they were busy. This egregious pricing amounts to daylight robbery. Trustpilot should consider revising their rating system to accommodate a resounding zero for companies displaying absolute ineptitude – precisely what this deceptive entity merits.

Had a unit from this company for many years without a problem, I Emailed them to ask which modern unit would be an exact replacement for my old one.My Email has been ignored and looking at the reviews of late it seems the company is not what it used to be.I will be looking at other makes.

We have Nuaire MVHR MRXBOX ECO-2 unit. We had a fan failure within a year. I don't consider Nuaire products to be durable with issues coming up in such a short duration. Furthermore, labour warranty is only 1 year. If the company knows its products are not durable, they should offer labour warranty for 5 years as well.

We have had a Nuaire dri eco heat fitted and although we knew it wasn't a heater we didn't expect it to blow constant cold air out. We live in a small bungalow and although it does seem to be working for the condensation I am now constantly cold. As I am retired I am in the house all day and now sit with a fleece blanket and hot water bottle to keep warm during the day. I'm now not allowed to close the bedroom door at night (as that's where we get the condensation) so I'm cold during the night and the noise of the fan keeps me awake as I am a very light sleeper. If you are thinking of buying the heated version you are wasting your money. Consider the one with no heating but do take into consideration that you will have cold air blowing constantly into your house. It does not work out very economical as I have had to turn the heating up to compensate for this. I hate it but my husband loves it!
Purchased a Nuaire Flatmaster 2000 L/R for use in basement that was a little ‘musky’ due to poor ventilation. I installed the unit 9 months ago and it was quite straight forward to fit and install. The unit has been working well and I am very pleased with its performance and the resulting filtered fresh air ventilation. My dealings with Nuaire after sales in regards advice and spare filters etc have been positive. The only issue i have had thus far with the unit was a build up of condensation on the inlet pipe, but this has since been overcome by repositioning the air unit to reduce the length of the inlet pipe work within the basement, my fault initially for not reading the installation instruction section that advises to keep the inlet pipe as short as possible. Good value for money product. Would certainly recommend it if you have a basement that is in need of some fresh air.
We bought a dormer bungalow in 2002. No damp issues, but it had been owned by smokers and needed ripping through completely. The survey mentioned that the property was partially single glazed and the wooden french doors were a security risk and needed replacing. And it was COLD.We double glazed right thorough, had cavity wall insulation fitted, ripped out the bathroom and installed a decent shower. Within months our house was running with condensation. Our bedroom had wallpaper was peeling off the walls and there was black mould around the windows. We tried insulating, it just moved the coldest place in the house. Recently I googled, "Damp bungalow" and found nuaire. OMG. We've had it installed for around 3 weeks. (We've also fitted at better extractor fan in the bathroom - turns out the electrician had fitted a £30 one that was USELESS.) We have dry rooms, checking the humidity monitors is a house sport. Our damp bedroom used to have 80% plus humidity and is down to around 60%. The lounge is now so dry we've considering a bowl of water in front of the log burner. The wallpaper around the bedroom window is finally dry. That has never happened in winter the whole time we've lived here. Drawback? There is a small, very localised cool stream of air in the hall. I don't spend any time there, it's a thoroughfare. We are very pleased.
