Terrible customer treatment by older staff. Nothing but attitude with demands to see my phone for a coupon instead of my card. Meridian , MS store treated me like a non-enslited ollie army enemy. I just recieved my 15% off coupon for joining. I decided to visit the Meridian MS store. It was my very first deploynent and staff acted like they were very irritated that I approached the checkout counter to purchase my items. The old black lady wearing a mask tried to rish me out of the store. I am so sorry I interuupted you from standing around laughing with your friends. I am offcially defecting from this so called Army. The older staff was extremely rude and non-caring about your customers. Before I joined, the younger staff was very friendly and helpful. This time , around 7pm, older staff did not want to help me at all and was in a rush to cose the store it seemed. I have no idea why since closing time was still 2 hours away. Like I said, I apologize for interupting the olderblack ladies from their laughing and standing around. If you ever want to hire better help, look me up. For now, I am defectng and am very doubtfull I will ever return this your store in Meridian, MS! Go OLLIE GO !
Bought a portable air conditioner on June 5, 2025 and paid $330 for the one I got. Brand new and didn't even know it needed a window or wall ventilation at all. Now I am out $330 and stuck with a portable air conditioner that doesn't even cool the bedroom in my place off. The bedroom feels like a sauna all the time but no relief.
After waiting at the only open register, the cashier has to give me his whole speech about the loyalty card which I refused at the beginning of his speech but had to listen to the whole thing. He rang up the one item I was buying and insisted on me giving him my zip code. I told him no and he refused to sell me the product. It was a $1.99 tube of conditioner. He told me he had to have it, so I told him I could live without it. Waste of time.
Ollie’s in rocky has very poor customer service on returns,the manager is very rude ,and don’t need to be employed if she doesn’t like her job,her fellow employees and the customers could not believe how rude she was,she had no knowledge of the item I was returning,she even ask me how it works,I will never go to Ollie’s again
