Easy to set up for what I needed to print. Shipping was fast (less than a week!) and the product exceeds my expectations. Would definitly recommand. I printed a 24x36in posted in semi-gloss paper.
I ordered 5 prints of a photo but only received 4. When I reached out to the company's Help Center (which consists solely of a chatbot), they requested photos to validate my claim, which I provided. I followed up with the "agent" for three consecutive days and did not receive any acknowledgment or response regarding the issue. It's one thing to make a mistake on the order initially, but to completely ignore the mistake and the concern reflects a total lack of integrity from the company. My experience aligns with several reviews highlighting the company's inadequate customer service. I would recommend choosing a different service in the future!
The service is disappointing and lacks reliability. They provide only "approximate" turnaround and shipping times and do not take responsibility for delays in processing and shipping. I placed an order three weeks ago with a promised two-day turnaround and paid for expedited shipping, expecting delivery by December 9. They generated a shipping label on December 2 but didn't actually ship it until December 11. I was advised to check back on December 23 if it hadn't arrived by then. This order was for Christmas cards that I needed to send out, making a late arrival completely unhelpful. Their response: It’s frustrating when timing doesn't align. Unfortunately, orders that are already in production or have shipped cannot be returned or refunded simply because they are no longer useful or won't arrive on time. Refunds are only applicable for defective, damaged, or incorrect items reported within 14 days of delivery. Since the order is in transit and the delay was due to shipping issues rather than a product defect, a refund is not available according to their standard policy.
I ordered my Christmas cards with Optimal Print for delivery between two dates. Got an email order confirmation, but nothing further. Upon reaching out on the last date the order should have been delivered, I was told it had shipped the previous week and I was given a tracking number. Upon tracking it, I realized that there was an error that the shipping company had made - they sorted the package incorrectly, it said. I called and they said that they updated my package to a pick up at their facility about 25 min from my home. I said I paid for shipping to my home and to please get it delivered. The shipping company opened a claim. I went back to Optimal Print to let them know what was going on and that I had paid for shipping to my house. The customer service agent basically said that they had attempted delivery (they had not, which I confirmed while on the phone with the shipping company) so I would need to pick it up. I then let them know that I would like a refund on shipping and that I would not pick up a package that was instructed to be delivered to my house. I heard nothing back. I then let them know that I would either like a full refund on my order or for them to reship me my order. Also, nothing back. There’s no phone line, just email/chat. So while it sounds like they’re all for customer service and keeping customers happy, clearly they’re not. On the website it does state that they will send a new order if there are issues, also which is clearly untrue. My order should have been in my hands a week ago and customer service has done nothing to keep my business at all. Will never order from here again and will let everyone I know to steer clear as well.
I ordered a large photo print on aluminum, but it arrived with minimal space between the metal and the edge of the packaging, resulting in considerable damage to the corners and sides. I reached out to the support team late at night through the website chat, and they agreed to send a replacement. This one was better packaged and arrived without any issues. However, I did have a few other questions in the chat that went unanswered, leaving me uncertain if that was intentional. Ultimately, I received what I needed, albeit later than expected.
I’m on optimalprint.ca. It takes me through to the app, I spend hours placing the pictures with their glitchy app. Then get to checkout to find they don’t deliver to Canada. What’s the point in a .ca website that doesn’t deliver to Canada?! Update & response: I can't provide an order ID because I didn't order the item. No point ordering it if it doesn't deliver to the country to which I'd like it delivered.
Ordered Christmas cards on Nov 28 - delivery said Dec 2-3. Now shows Dec 5 and I will be leaving on a trip that day for a week so these cards will not be sent before my trip now and will not be received before Christmas which makes them almost worthless at this point. Super disappointing as I ordered here specifically because they'd be delivered before I left.Wanted to try someone new as I always use vista print but this experience has made sure I dont try these guys again.Don't order if you are dependant on the delivery date being accurate as now I wasted almost $100 on cards that will be delivered 2-3 days late and because of that I will not have them to recipients on time before the holidays. And the worst part is no customer service besides some AI chat that just ends the chat when they give you an answer (which was not helpful and inaccurate).
