Not recommended, i purchased an product on them website after i put all the car details on it,and they recommend the product purchased. After arrival the product i trying to connect with the car but unsuccessful. I contact first the seller after 1 day off purchased to ask again about the product to be 100% sure about it,but no answer from them end...Any way i contact them to return it but a silly answer i get for them,to keep the product and reselling by myself and them to give me 10 pounds .This is a joke of a company....Don't buy from them you gona be disappointed of the quality as well.
My experience with Ottocast has been very disappointing. The device I received was defective and unusable in my vehicle. The user interface was not compatible with my car, which made the product unreliable and not fit for purpose.After reporting the issue, I attempted to return the item and request a refund. Instead of resolving the problem, I was offered a small discount or a replacement, neither of which addressed the core issue. I made it clear that I did not want a replacement and only wanted a full refund, as the product does not function correctly.Communication was slow and unhelpful, and the return process was unnecessarily difficult despite the fault being present from the start. Overall, the product quality and customer support did not meet reasonable expectations, and I would not recommend Ottocast based on my experience.
I have several adapters from Ottocast and this one is the best version.Looks sturdy and durable. Made of ABS. Smaller than my thumb. Previous models were quite large. One thing that makes this different is that this one plugs directly to my USB A port. Previously, Ottocast models had a wire. The problem with that is if it gets bumped inside the compartment, there is a tendency to disconnect. Plus constant bending of the wire may cause connection issues. This one is much better.Came with USB A to USB C and an L-shaped USB A to USB A adapter.Plug and play. Just turn on your WiFi (or data if WiFi is not available) and bluetooth and onscreen instructions will guide you in pairing it with your head unit. Connects under 20 seconds. Same with reconnection.All the necessary apps from your phone will he seen on screen like contacts, messages, map, music, etc. Controls from my control knob works. Responds to siri too.Overall, great addition for those who have Carplay but needs to be wires. Ditch the wire. Go wireless.
Ottocast aibox e2Rubbish product and customer serviceWont connect to multiplay to access android auto and bluetooth keeps disconnecting. Customer service is not so helpful at all, emailed several times but just keeps sending the same troubleshooting list you need to do on every email. Return is not free you have to pay it yourself. And this is an international supplier hence return postage is expensive.Product is not as straightforward product as they claim this to be. As you would have to unplug the device every now and then for it to work properly. Dont buy this producrt. Browse other product on which i think will have better performance than ottocast
Only a 1 star because I can’t give less. I couldn’t tell you how much I hate this company. I have been attempting to make a return for over a month over 50 emails. The company will no longer respond. Once we got to the point of needing a return label they stopped responding. I have read many complaints that even when the company has allowed a return the refuse to refund. I hope this company fails. I hope I help bring it down. I won’t stop till they are gone.
One of the better wireless adapters I have used till now and I have used quite a few. The pairing process is simple and fast. The device is fairly compact and the LED is the right way up, thankfully. It comes with multiple connection options. The re-pairing process is a bit finnicky, requiring me to disconnect the device every time. However, I did notice that the audio delay is very minimized and the pairing is fast when it gets it right.
Terrible Customer Service.1 star only because there is no zero option. I complained of a delay each time I used the device in my car and also a delay when using maps and selecting a new music track. Customer service have just sent me emails asking for details, videos and even downloading a log of the issue. All of which I have done and still they won't give me return details. Complete rip off. Do not deal with this company.

I wish I would have looked at the reviews here before purchasing an Ottocast product. I purchased a lay2Video Pro Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto All-in-one Adapter. Set up according to the (terrible) instructions. It worked for a brief 5 minutes. When we went to use it again, nothing. Looked at several troubleshooting websites for advice but could not get it back. Tried returning it, but you need to email "Support" and they give you complicated instructions, which didn't work. In the end, they did not give a refund, but $5 and a Y cable - UGH! $80 down the drain.
