It’s a very easy to use insurance. Everything is online, clear and straightforward. And so far all the payments have been done as expected, also throughout the pregnancy and parental leave. I also had a large dental intervention: from Ottonova side everything was clear and to the point.
Been a customer since 2022 but only really used them this year (2025). I had to replace a broken crown and the process from uploading the invoice to receive payment has taken roughly one week (altough the AI chat said it would take three to four weeks).
I‘m a Ottonova customer since 2020. The company is setting new standards in customer service with its super friendly, competent and fast interaction via chat and phone. I love that they remind me on my personalized preventive medical check up’s and even book them for me if I want! The app is super easy to use, super fast refunding and like a health companion- always something valuable to read about how to improve your health. In their healthX Programm you not only can shape future offerings of the company but they onboarding continually new partners with apps which add daily health value you can use with bigger discounts and even get an additional bonus from Ottonova. I’m very satisfied with my decision and looking forward for new services and offerings. The older private insurance companies really can learn something from this innovative and super customer oriented young team.
