I’m terrified for all behind the marketing. I gave 5 stars by accident until I saw the reality. Nobody will help you. They don’t care because the building has a deal with the government to pay for low income people. 340 Clifton Pl Brooklyn 11216, NYC . Creepy bed-stuy outside and the worse part is inside the building
Great accommodations, I like having my own private balcony. Very bright and modern apartment and the backyard is a huge bonus. Only complaint is that I wish they restocked the monthly supplies more generously, we sometimes have to buy our own before the month is out.
My air conditioner was broke for 5 days before it was fixed. Other than that, I’m having a decent stay. There’s in unit washer & dryer and I signed during a special promotion so I secured the room for $950 per month for a 12-month lease which is way cheaper than anything else I found while shopping.(Woodbine House)
Giving 4 stars cuz my current roommates are a little messy but the apartment gets cleaned once a month as part of the fee so its not a big deal. Plus Outpost lets you switch apartments if you request it so that gives me peace of mind. I’m at the Lafayette House in an Executive suite so I get my own private bathroom for $1450 which tbh is a steal especially because the commute to Manhattan is really good. The extensions coordinator Tania is extremely helpful as I’m currently in the process of extending my lease.
The pricing is quite reasonable compared to others co-livings. One of features that I liked most is that you can choose room that has its own bathroom, so you don't have to share with many others. The furniture in every room is new and clean, and the cleanliness here surpasses other co-living spaces I've visited. However, the internet can be slow at times.
For the last 8 months, Outpost Club has been my safe haven in the busy streets of New York. The warm atmosphere of the room and the natural light in the room makes the space much more enjoyable. The cleanliness and organization of the room makes a person’s life easier on a day to day basis. But I did observe a lack of seating in first floor lounges during peak hours which could be improved for better comfort of all residents.
I’ve been living at Outpost Club for just over six months now, and I can confidently say it’s one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Moving to NYC was a big leap for me—I didn’t know anyone here, and the idea of finding a decent living arrangement felt overwhelming. Outpost Club, however, made it so easy. The first thing I noticed was how organized everything was. From the contract to the move-in process, every detail was clearly explained, and there were no hidden fees (a rarity in NYC). The location is unbeatable, too. I can walk to my favorite yoga studio, my office is a short subway ride away, and there’s a gorgeous park nearby where I often go to unwind. One thing I want to highlight is the sense of community. It’s rare to find a place where you can strike up meaningful conversations with your neighbors. Here, though, I’ve made genuine friends. The events, like trivia nights and cooking classes, are thoughtfully curated to encourage interaction. That said, I do have one small piece of feedback. While the rooms are comfortable and spacious, I think the lighting could be a bit warmer—it sometimes feels a bit harsh, especially in the evenings. But that’s such a small thing in the grand scheme of what this place offers. The team at Outpost Club truly cares about their residents, and it shows. I’ve even seen management checking in on people personally during the holidays to ensure everyone feels included. This isn’t just a co-living space—it’s a home.
