Outpost Club’s Maison Linden in Queens has been a great choice for my grad studies. The environment is quiet, perfect for studying, and the communal areas have plenty of space for group work. The staff are incredibly helpful, especially when it comes to maintenance. I’ve met some amazing people here during social events, which alleviated my initial homesickness. However, I wish the communal kitchen was cleaned more frequently. Overall, it’s a good balance of socializing and studying.
The most advantageous aspect of Outpost Club is undoubtedly the community (which I greatly appreciate). I’ve encountered numerous talented individuals here and there are consistently events taking place that facilitate connection and collaboration. It’s an excellent atmosphere for creative professionals or entrepreneurs. However, there is a minor drawback: some events are scheduled during the workday, which can pose challenges for those of us facing tight deadlines. Nevertheless, when I do manage to attend, they are invariably enjoyable and well-organized.
I live in a great location at Outpost Club and can't tell you how easy it is to get around town. The subway is only a few minutes' walk away. Which made my travels so much easier. That being said, rents can be a bit high compared to others in the area, but additional amenities include a gym and community space. It's definitely worth considering...
One of my favorite features about Outpost Club Ridgewood Queens is keyless access to the building and my apartment. It makes getting in and out so much easier. And I don't have to worry about losing my keys. The smart lock is easy to use and added an extra level of security and convenience to my stay.
It was heavy to go to NYC, but the Outpost made it so easy! The room was ready and I immediately made friends. The only thing that I had to accommodate was the habits of different cleaning between roommates, but we worked on a system. If you are looking for a stress-free way to live in the city, it is!
