The dishwasher has been broken since move-in, leaking water and contributing to pest problems, while the sink plumbing leaks, causing cabinet damage and mold risks. Closets are poorly installed and collapse, damaging belongings. Mold and mildew were merely grouted over in the shower, posing health risks.Maintenance routinely marks tickets as “complete” without resolving anything, leaving residents to fight for even basic fixes like air and fridge filters. The trash bin is broken, exacerbating pest issues, and WiFi connectivity is unreliable. Outpost prioritizes appearances over functionality and resident well-being. I procrastinated booking for my internship and started to panic when everything in Williamsburg and Lower Manhattan was fully booked. Thankfully, this spot still had availability and was much more affordable than the other places I’d looked at, all while being in a prime location! I’m so glad I found the Outpost website. Danielle from sales was incredibly helpful and quick to respond!
One area for improvement would be the mailroom management—it can sometimes be confusing to locate packages. A more streamlined system could enhance the overall efficiency. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend Outpost Club to anyone looking for a co-living space in NYC.

The outpost mixes the best parts of Derm Life and Apartment Living. I have my own place, but also a built -in social circle. Movie nights, Co -workers blanks and networking events make life so attractive here. Once, the heating took some time to recover, but the team kept us updated, and it was not a major issue.

The Outpost Club has been so much more than just a place to live in the past year for me. I have witnessed a deeply rooted culture of creativity at this club. The team works very hard to ensure each one of their guests is properly taken care of. They provide great attention to detail in tasks as small as helping out with getting reservations at small venues in New York City or delivering packages to making sure all the complexities of the city are figure out. The design of the rooms is also impeccable as it combines both a functional and pleasing aesthetic thus allowing one to relax after a busy day in the city.The shared spaces can use a bit of sprucing up as I feel like a dimly lit environment would promote more close gather in the evenings. The Wi-Fi is alright at best but the speed will be helpful during peak hours as classic tasks such as video conferencing would be easier, as I depend heavily on the internet.
