It was extremely disappointing. After paying for a monthly subscription, I don't understand why I have to purchase a book again, even at a reduced price. This makes the subscription model seem pointless. It feels like a scam. I simply waited until the subscription period was over. Additionally, this information was not clearly presented before I subscribed. There's a lot of confusion on the platform. Another service has a much better approach.
I've been a subscriber for over a year and have greatly benefited from the videos and books for acquiring essential technical skills. I found this platform while studying IT and, even after completing my degree, I still consider their content the most reliable for ongoing training. I am now focusing on Cybersecurity and AI, and while I’ve accessed some material through another platform, my only challenge is finding enough time. The quality of the content is invaluable for both newcomers and seasoned professionals looking for industry resources. I plan to maintain my subscription for the foreseeable future.

I didn’t have a subscription; I was using it occasionally without one. Recently, I rediscovered my account but had to update my email, which was not verified adequately. I could change all my details without proper verification and didn’t receive any confirmation about this change. This raises concerns about account security. I also tried to delete my account but found no option for that. How can a company operate with such a mindset? Although I can’t comment on their subscription model, I find these security issues concerning and hope that subscribers take precautions. EDIT: I created an account to highlight these issues, which I find unacceptable and unprofessional.
When you purchase a book, you should receive the free PDF, but after following the download instructions, I never got a response. The 'Contact Us' link on their site was broken, and when I found another link to ask questions, I received no reply. I feel like giving up and returning the book. They responded to my review asking for an email, which is odd since I filled out their form multiple times. They ignored my requests, and now they only respond to negative feedback. I have had past issues with downloading PDFs, and this lack of communication is frustrating. I haven't read the book yet, so I can't comment on its quality, but my previous experiences have been disappointing.

However, not all books provide in-depth coverage; some seem more like summaries, which can be disappointing. The app is decent but has a significant flaw: it doesn’t save your place in books. This disrupts the reading experience and is nearly a deal breaker. With a bit more refinement, especially on the app, it could be an outstanding platform.
I appreciate the up-to-date Packt books, especially with early access. They guide you effectively as tutorials, which is what I need. However, the app is severely lacking; I can’t access my playlists, and the downloaded images for my trip were unreadable. You would expect a tech-focused company to deliver a better app experience.
