Scam return fee

I bought a pair of mittens (largest size they had) and they did not fit over my very narrow sleeve jacket. Clearly this is a design issue, not a fit issue. They wanted to charge $9 for return. When I called to ask for the fee to be waived, I was told that this is my problem and definitely not a design issue and if I don't like it to get a bigger size (there isn't one). Of course they don't allow reviews on the site and the return fee was also hidden in the fine print.

Non delivery and no explanation

I ordered a pair of boots from the UK as a Christmas present for my son who lives in Montreal. They did not arrive in time and have still not been despatched. Have emailed to chase delivery twice and just get an apology with no confirmation of a firm delivery date. They asked if I wanted to elevate my complaint which I did, but still no communication as to when the item will be delivered. On the website the boots have now been reduced and are out of stock, but Pajar have not been honest enough to inform me that they are unable to fulfill my order. Very disappointing and I see from other reviews that they do not operate their customer services with any integrity or valuing of the customer experience.I will be emailing requesting a full refund and wait to see how efficient they will be with that.

Disappointing customer service

I tried to exchange a pair of boots bought on sale on Black Friday and despite having the pair in my size on their website, it was not available in the return portal. I emailed customerservice asking if they could help me with this exchange and after several confusing messages from their AI, a real person responded and helped me. They suggested that I return the boots and buy them again and agreed to give me the same discount that I received on the black Friday promotion. I did exactly as I was instructed, and the the Boots never came. It took weeks for them to resolve this, despite me emailing several times in the process. Close to the end of December, they canceled the purchase. The way they strung me along caused me to miss out on all the Boxing Day boot sales. I tried emailing them to ask if there was an accommodation they could make and voice my displeasure. I got an AI response and no human followed up. This company does not do proper business and I advise buying anything from them.

I paid over $500 for this pair of boots…

I paid over $500 for this pair of boots (pajar heritage) and in less than three years they have literally fallen apart. Despite normal use, the boots have completely lost their waterproofing, the outsole is deteriorating, and both the insole and midsole are breaking down. Pieces of cork inside the boot are crumbling and coming out.I even had the boots repaired by a professional cobbler, but the issues persisted and continued to worsen. This level of deterioration is unacceptable for footwear at this price point.Ironically, I have owned boots costing under $150 in the past that proved to be significantly more durable and reliable than these. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend these boots and am extremely disappointed with their overall quality and longevity.

Pajar is style over substance—save your $600 and stick with proven brands.

I made a huge mistake ditching my old North Face boots for these Pajar “-40°C” boots at $599 CAD. My North Face pair (half the price, 5+ years old) kept my feet toasty in -35°C blizzards. These Pajars? Frostbite in 10 minutes at -28°C.

Pajar does not stand behind their…

Pajar does not stand behind their products. I bought an expensive pair of waterproof snow boots (Sira) and had only worn them less than 2 weeks total when water started penetrating the boot, rendering them useless. Because I had them longer than 6 months, they wouldn't do anything about it, even though I sent them pictures showing that they still looked brand new...because they essentially were! I will never buy from them again. When you pay that much for a boot, you expect better quality. I guess there's a reason they don't allow reviews on their website. Stay away from Pajar if you're looking for well made boots.

Horrible customer service

I used to love Pajar. Product quality has gone down, and the customer service is absolutely atrocious. I will never be purchasing anything from that brand again.

Bad quality , would not recommand the boots

I bought the chelsea boots from pajar . They were on sale at 130$ . The regular price seems to be around 500$ . It does really not worth the price . Its not real leather and I wore them twice just in the office and travelling by car and i can already see scratches on the leather . Im so disappointed I thought it was good quality and that it was gonna last me many years . Im already very disappointed. Im not bying from them anymore

These boots were made for...falling apart?

On November 25, 2021, I bought a pair of Pajar winter boots for $283.35—because nothing says “Canadian winter readiness” like dropping nearly $300 on footwear that should be built to survive at least a couple of snowflakes. Fast-forward to mid-January 2023, and the lining inside these boots was deteriorating faster than my patience. They became so uncomfortable they gave me blisters the size of moguls. To complete the ensemble, one zipper also broke. Keep in mind: these boots saw a maximum of six months of wear. I’ve owned cheaper boots that lasted longer… and caused significantly less emotional damage. On January 19th, 2023, I contacted Pajar customer service through their online chat, which felt eerily like stepping into the plot of that TV show The Chair Company—you know, the one where you start wondering whether the business is actually a front for something else, because no legitimate company could operate with this level of chaos and lack of accountability. Multiple days of back-and-forth (on a live chat - they took DAYS to respond on a live chat), photo requests, and head-scratching responses later, they triumphantly announced they’d fix the zipper—but only if I paid for it, because I had owned the boots for “more than six months.”They only stand by their workmanship for SIX MONTHS?!? These are $300 boots, not a toothbrush! They then claimed the boots were “almost three years old.” Absolutely false. I have receipts. Screenshots. Probably even security-cam footage of me clicking “purchase.”I explained (again) that the real issue was the deteriorating lining that made the boots unwearable. And no, it is not reasonable to expect someone to mail their only pair of winter boots across provinces in January and wander around like a frostbitten pioneer while waiting for an undetermined repair timeline.I asked to speak to a manager. Denied. I proposed three reasonable solutions:• A refund• An exchange• Or allowing me to take the boots to a local repair shop at Pajar’s expenseAll three were shut down without hesitation and I was told they were doing me a favour by offering me a repair at my own expense. Oh! My bad! Was I supposed to say thank you?In the end, the boots fell apart, the customer service fell short, and I fell into a spiral wondering whether Pajar Canada is a footwear company, a front, or just a performance-art piece about disappointment.
