Review Time
Delivery and installation is all I can review at this point. Both were excellent. Late last year the bearings in my washer began to scream. I ordered bearings and tool kit from large Internet retailer. In less than six months the new bearings were screaming again. This time I ordered the bearings from Part Select. They cost more but reviews I had read led me to believe they would last. It’s only been a month so I can’t comment on the durability of the new bearings. So far so good but time will tell.
This place is a joke. They charge me $80 to have a freezer door shipped to my house once I received it I was told I only needed to replace the seal so I wanted to return it to get my money back but the post office wanted $125 to return it. You do the math why anybody would ever buy from this place is beyond me terrible customer service don’t waste your time or your money go to your local supply house.
I ordered parts for a refigerator and paid for expedited shipping. Of the parts I ordered, one was damaged. I sent pictures of the shipping box and the part to PartSelect on the day I received the parts. After sending the photos, several phone calls, and emails, am told continually that I will receive a refund 3 - 5 work days after their analysis is completed. As of today, 12 days after sibmitting a claim, I have not received a refund, notice that the analysis is complete, or any other feedback.
I’ve had my refrigerator for years and about seven years ago one of my beautiful grandchildren was having trouble opening the crisper. It was stuck due to being cantawompus inside the guide so he inadvertently broke some of the plastic off the side guide by forcing it open. I was going to replace it back in 2020 but the cost was $100 and i just couldn’t afford it at the time. Things are better now and decided to pre-sue replacing the crisper again. To my surprise the cost was significantly lower; ordering on line was easy, shipping was fast, part/crisper fit perfectly. Very pleased with the service and definitely would use the company again if additional items are required.
Replacement parts worked flawlessly! However, if it wasn't for the video on their website demonstrating how to replace this dishwasher top tray hardware, I would have been screwed! Replacement kit looked nothing like original junk, but worked very well.
I definitely trust this company more than anywhere else. I've bought parts from them a few times and the parts work and last right at a year. That is better than other places I've read only lasting a few months. Partselect prices are little higher but I feel like I get my money's worth. The website is easy to navigate and has helpful videos as well as remembering your parts for you so you can easily find and repurchase. My only complaint is I wish they came a warranty and lasted longer than a year. A better discount never hurts either lol. But I do recommend this company.
What I love about Parts Select is their step by step videos that make doing your own repairs so easy. I've bought parts for a bunch of appliances and I always get the right thing and the videos show me the process step by step.
