Review Time
I ordered a part for my washing machine on September 2. The order info on my account the following day showed that the part was shipped. I live roughly 50 miles from the warehouse, so I expected it in a day or two, tops. When it hadn't arrived after a week, I checked the tracking number and USPS indicated that the label was created on Sept 3, but that they had not yet received the parcel. I called Parts Select and was told it must be lost but I would have to wait another week before anything could be done about it. So I waited and called back after waiting a total of two weeks, spoke to a very nice customer service rep named Britany, that advised she would issue a refund that would take two weeks and I would have to place a second order and pay again for the part. NOT! Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I'll order the part elsewhere thank you very much
Caveat Emptor-BUYER BEWARE!!!!I thought Parts Select were a safe place for a DiYer to buy parts. Their home page mentions 365 day returns. When I started to read about Refunds I was quickly directed to the self-serv return button and then got ushered to my order form and filled a refund request out. At this point you’d still need to do a deep dive to find out about the return policy. I didn’t. I simply boxed the part up and then looked into the nearest postal facility to take it to. My part cost $475. They won't refund because of the mark from the screw when I did the install and they also say an electrical clip was marked up, …I have no idea how that could even happen. Also in their loopholes was the fact that they won't return it back to me. So, they claim because they can no longer sell it as a “New” product they just discarded it. A fully functioning part. Not giving me the chance to have my item back a $475 item, that I payed for back to at the very least have a backup or even try to sell it myself to recover some cost. After a quick review check, I notice a couple of people questioning the condition of the parts they received, This company got my money and my part and now I can't even sell it on my own to recover the money.Shady, won't recommend, I should have checked reviews and bought locallyComment as Shaw...
