Olblging you to send them your financial details via e-mail. After registering on their web-site my account became blocked with no explanation. I had to write them a letter and ask what was the problem - they responded in 30 hours and said I needed to send them my bank card details (not an entire code). I did not use an encrypted e-mail provider while registering on their web-site - they want the bank card details (even partial) being send to them by e-mail and register from your own IP address - do you want your users being hacked? By the way - THEY DELETE REVIEWS SIMILAR TO THIS ONE. There have been way more reviews with the similar issues - they deleted all of them. You can not sign up on their web-site and decide what payment do you want to use - they just force you to confirm your bank card and block your account if you don't, without letting you just casually use it for at least a short while. I couldn't sign up - they didn't let me use their web-site.
Found several accounts selling "adult/18+" creations featuring children wearing lingerie or swimsuits or nothing at all, posing erotically and touching themselves and all the comments are creeps defending the posts as "art". There is no way this is art or that these are adults, and the accounts selling this crap have hundreds of subscribers. Then they banned my account after reporting it so I kind of figure they know about it and aren't going to remove it unless someone like police take it down.
Engages now in active censorship by deactivating the accounts of people I admire and follow.Just because they encourage people to critically think, does not mean it is a bad thing.Nor should Patreon feel it has the right to censor because of a viewpoint they do not agree with.My one warning to you, you will no longer exist in the near future. You are sprinting towards obsolescence.
I was trying to login into my account but I remembered that my phone number is deactivated. I tried to get in with many attempts but it's no use if you don't have your old phone number. Your emails don't work either because all the emails that I DO get are "if you have any problems getting into your account try phone number, restarting your phone, etc, etc." I tried calling the headquarters to help but it's the same fuxking thing. Before my card was charged I got scammed and have to renew my card info. The last message I got was saying my card got declined and looking to renew it. Which I am not going to do.Don't do patron. Please don't waste your time and money.Edited a week and a half has passed and I was able to get a employee to respond to my messages. I have got word that they will do everything in there power to get what needs to be done. Long story short, I was able to get my account to stop the payments under one night. Thank you very much Zoe.
Truly the worst customer service on the planet. I got scammed by technical issues after cancelling a subscription before renewal date. Patreon still charged me and their awful response was not helping. When I finally got a mail from support, they said that the issue could not be resolved by them. Litterally they said that problems on their platfrom is not their problems. Actually braindead people working there. When I further tried to explain to support, ther responses looked like automatically generated responses. The mails I recieved only contained unuseful information and was accusing me of being in fault. Later that year, patreon banned my account for suspicious activity for no reason at all. To prevent my account from being removed, patreon asked me for my credit card information, all my emails, my adress, the country I live in, my name etc... What the hell! Never give patreon any of your credit card information, they are actually scamming people.
